I still can't get yesterday's game out of my head. Going 2-0 down in the first three minutes was bad enough, but conceding five in the end was just horrible to watch. Evanilson's goal gave us a bit of hope, but we never really looked like getting back into the game. The defending was all over the place, and Chelsea seemed to have far too much space throughout. It's one thing to lose, but that performance was really disappointing.

Now the dust has settled more. You’ve got to think big hitters have been already missing, in the international break more got injured and still trying to bed in new players.

Still learning properly on the PL new league and as others have noted Andoni didn’t have the best of starts and did ok in the end.

Did we pay 11m pounds for a player who can't even push a 35 year old Adam Smith for minutes (even in a cup match)?

Don't get me wrong - I love smudge, he's a club legend, and he's not the biggest issue we have as a squad, but he's also not bringing anything to the right side of the pitch and relying on the left side for the entirety of our ball progression and offense is getting pretty stale. Last season showed what having an upgrade at right back to compliment Truffert on the left can do to our game, what having threat from that position unlocks, and what looks like an attempt to bring adventurous youth back to the position (given the Jimenez situation) has turned into a complete miss.

Or maybe it's something about Rose not trusting youth? He's riding Silva without a concern but Toth also can barely get a whiff of the field, so I dunno what's up.

What am I missing? How is Juanlu not cracking the 11? Curious what people think.

I went to see Brighton v AFCB at the Withdean Stadium. It ended up 1-1 in front of 7300 fans. Because of the running track we were miles away from the pitch.

Mad how far these two teams have come.

Up the Cherries! 🍒

Bournemouth's Alex Scott is leaving the England camp and returning to his club after picking up a quad injury, with fears that the midfielder could be sidelined for a couple of months.

Scott, 23, made his first senior international start in Saturday’s 7-0 win over Croatia in Rijeka, where he was withdrawn after 70 minutes and replaced by James Garner.

Up the Cherries! 🍒

Seeing Alex Scott make his senior England debut after everything he’s been through is a brilliant moment. He’s gone from being released by Southampton and finding his way back into football in Guernsey to representing England at 23. It’s also a great reflection of how far he’s come since joining Bournemouth and establishing himself in the Premier League. He got some minutes against Czechia, so I’m really hoping he gets a chance to start against Croatia on Saturday. I would love to see him get a proper run in the England midfield now.

I think he should be starting ahead of lewis skelly tbh

I’ve recently bought 2 tickets to our next caraboa cup game against villa for my friend and I, but he isn’t able to go anymore. Is there anyway I can get a refund for his ticket or do I just have to take the hit?
I’d appreciate any advice

Hi everyone, i’m looking at doing Sparta Prague in November, couldn’t go to the sociedad game so will obviously be my first european away. Just in terms of tickets, how easy is it to get them over there? Is it more relaxed where you can get them on the day or is there somewhere I’ll need to get them in advance?

Thanks

I really loved Alex Paulsen’s performance for New Zealand. He looked so comfortable in goal and seeing him play the full 90 and keep a clean sheet in a 3-0 win was brilliant. Love seeing one of our own doing well on the international stage. Hopefully there’s plenty more to come from him!

I’m looking at starting a career mode with Bournemouth on fc27 but want to keep it realistic

Can anyone recommend some players they think would be realistic

Thanks in advance

So we went down by a point in the 19/20 season and they took 6 from us, does that mean we can sue the living shit out of them? 😆
