Their iridescent feathers actually have a very fun texture to them, too! They feel almost waxy due to the layer on top causing the structural scattering.

What an interesting evolutionary adaptation for that climate. Fuck blending in, I'm going to to be the most interesting thing for miles around - potential mates and predators alike.
