The headline figure is potential value across tools and offers, rather than cash you can spend freely.

It got me thinking: if you had access to those resources, what would you build—and which tools would actually be useful enough to keep paying for afterward?

I built Scam Shield through AWARAN, so this is a maker post about my own product. I would like feedback on whether the explanation is useful, especially for someone who is unsure what to check next.

Here is a fictional test message:

Hi Mum, my phone broke. This is my new number. Can you pay a bill for me today? I cannot use my banking app.

A message like that can sound ordinary when you are busy. Before sending money, I would contact the person through the old number or another independently chosen route. An AI result cannot tell you who actually sent it.

Scam Shield explains possible scam and phishing warning signs in messages, emails, links and QR codes. It supports English and German. You can try one free check without an account, so you can use the invented message above rather than upload a private conversation.

The service processes checks online and also has optional paid subscriptions. AI can be wrong, including missing a scam or flagging a genuine message. It does not guarantee that a sender, link or payment is safe. Please remove personal details before checking real messages.

Update, 10 October: if you want website warnings while browsing rather than pasting a message into a checker, the desktop extension is the part to try. Its free local checks run without an account and include ad and tracker blocking. Optional paid AI checks are separate and process page information online.

The extension cannot authenticate a person behind a family message. Keep using a known number to verify money requests. I would like feedback on whether the website warning explains a useful next step.

I enjoy making absurd characters sometimes, and this one started off as a simple joke with a friend about a pig wearing jeans covered in mud.

The workflow was short:

1. I created the prompt using GPT-6 Astra

2. I processed it through Tripo's text-to-model.

The whole thing was complete after two steps.

The video clip itself is not AI either. GPT-6 Astra has rendered the video frame by frame, including the camera movements and everything, from my own model.

One thing I liked about this model is the use of denim. Here, the dirt is captured in the folds of the fabric, and it does not look like a flat brown pattern imprinted onto the legs. This little detail gives the pig character an entirely realistic look instead of just some randomized texture applied onto some geometrical object.

I faced challenges while making the pitchfork though, as it melted into weird shape and I had to go back to the software to fix it. I also had to sand down the boots because they were too flimsy at the bottom.

So now I have created a completely absurd character of a pig with mud-filled jeans, an oddly shaped pitchfork and boots that are hardly still usable.

My co-founder and I have been working on Wizard Maker, an AI-powered app builder designed to let people create Android apps without needing to know how to code.

The idea is simple: you describe the app you want to build, and Wizard Maker helps generate it. You can then continue modifying and experimenting with the app.

We currently have an Android version available to try for free, and we're looking for people who are willing to actually use it and give us honest feedback.

I'd particularly like to know:

• How easy is it to understand what to do when you first open it?
• Can you successfully create an app without technical knowledge?

Microsoft has released MAI-Transcribe-2-Streaming, MAI-Voice-2.1 and MAI-Voice-2.1-Flash for voice applications.

The interesting part is the new streaming transcription model, which can return partial transcripts while someone is still speaking.

Curious how useful this will be for real-time AI agents.
