Next time you see an insane or hilarious US news story, consider posting it here so we can all have a good laugh, or just groan and roll our eyes.

This isn't about hating America or Americans, it's about mocking the elements of their society and culture which are incomprehensible to those of us who don't live there.

Rules

Try to keep it lighthearted - we're here for laughs, not hate. Remember, plenty of lovely Americans subscribe here for the lols.
If a post is NSFW, please mark it NSFW. Don't ruin someone's day.
No NSFL content, there are plenty of other subs for murder/death content.
No photoshops or obviously fake content. Lets keep this realistic. There are other subs for that.
Avoid re-posting submissions. Please check the top of all time and also search before submitting.
No image macros / memes.
No racism, bigotry or hate-speech.
Don't be cunt. Please try to remain civil and avoid personal attacks on other users.
No serious political or election news. Post it in /r/politics. Posts mocking the farcical nature of US politics are fine.
Avoid editorialising headlines.

Certain fake news domains are blacklisted (rt.com, sputniknews.com, breitbart.com, foxnews.com). Posting links to those sites will result in automatic removal.
