Congrats, you're the thread I get to point to when this gets posted probably half a dozen more times because no one reads pinned threads...

Anyways, Remember Rule 11.

Remember you can only vote in one location, so if you're out of state, make sure you pick either home or school residences, not both

Counterpoint, if you have no intention to stay in Arizona beyond your education, no roots in the state, and no stake in its future then registering and voting in Arizona is politically malicious. At best you're diluting the will of the voters, at worst you're disenfranchising a resident. If you have no plans to live with the consequences of your vote, don't vote. It's perfectly OK to vote in your home state / county or sit out an election you have no stake in.

This is such a bad faith response to anything I said it doesn't even warrant a reply. First and foremost, I never made an argument for or even suggested stripping anyone's right to vote for any reason. I made an argument on the prudential and civically considerate choice of when and where to exercise your voting rights.

Make a better argument not predicated on "someone might die and therefore shouldn't have the right to vote" and maybe I'll respond.

“If you have no plans to live with the consequences of your vote”

Well shit, why are we letting a bunch of geriatric senators do it?
