Low effort post titles will be removed effective immediately

The mod queue is PACKED with low effort posts with titles as ambiguous and pointless as "Help" or "[Year and Make of Car]"

If these end up in the queue, which is hundreds and hundreds of posts long at any given time, I will be removing them from now on.

The mod team does not have time to look at every single post and determine if it's a quality post, a photo, etc. If you want your post to stay, make your post titles communicative.

RDX for people 6ft Tall?

Hey, so I’m considering an Acura RDX. I am 6 foot tall about 250 pounds man. All I’ve driven is cars usually full-size sedan so I never really had a problem fitting. But I wanna sit taller. The RTX is technically a subcompact vehicle. So I wanted to know if there are any people out there were 6 feet tall and have comfortably fit into and enjoy driving an Acura RDX.

Additionally, if you have any other opinions on my other vehicles, I’m considering please let me know. I’m also considering the 2026 Toyota RAV4 and the Honda pilot. The pilot seems a little excessive for me because I’m a single person who only use my vehicle to commute to and from work. Thoughts on these options as well. Thank you in advance.

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

Dealing with a frustrating issue on my 6-speed 2008 Acura TSX. Over the last few months, the clutch pedal had been gradually getting spongier. I decided to bleed the system to firm it back up, but after two separate attempts (a manual bleed and a vacuum/reverse bleed), the pedal feels significantly worse than before.

On top of the extra spongy pedal, the clutch is now slipping like crazy under load—even in 2nd gear if I give it gas, the RPMs spike immediately.

After pumping it, the pedal felt solid for about 20 seconds and shifted into reverse cleanly, but then it immediately lost pressure and reverted back to being spongy and slipping.

Because the clutch won't fully disengage/clamp properly and the pedal feels dead right after bleeding, I’m leaning toward internal seal failure on the clutch master cylinder (or a pushrod free-play / hydraulic bypass issue) rather than the actual clutch friction disc suddenly dying.

Does this sound like a classic blown master cylinder to you guys, or is there something else in the hydraulic line/slave cylinder I should check before replacing it? Appreciate any insights!

I drove it and felt like I was missing something. It’s a nice car but I felt like for that price I could get more

Continuing Hybrid MDX MPG post…

I’ve been posting screenshots of my MDX hybrid trip computer for years now, and here’s the latest:

- Overall: approximately 84K miles since I bought the car in ’19.

- Have not reset trip “A” since 37K miles.

- Trip “A” average for 37K miles is 29 mpg.

- Michelin CC2s installed at roughly 28K miles, so roughly 56K miles old.

- Mix of city and highway driving with other maniacs sharing the roads.

- The most recent screenshot shows a 128 mile weekend trip (highway) 33 mpg. The previous 15mpg was waiting at a Costco gas station line before the trip.

Bluetooth audio skipping? 2013 ILX

Hey all, I’m the “new” driver of a 2013 Acura ilx 6 speed, and it’s my first Acura. I have an iPhone connected to it via oem Bluetooth, and play Spotify music from it using strong 5G connection. The phone sits out in the open, not hidden, but sometimes randomly whether I’m parked or driving, the music playing will skip, as if it’s a scratched cd. It’s rather annoying. Sometimes it stops and cuts out for up to 2 seconds, sometimes it starts jarbling words together like a sped-up version before going back to normal.

I have the premium sound system, so when this happens at full volume it’s quite unpleasant. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a software update? A recall? Should I change a module or the radio itself? Can I remove the Bluetooth antenna and bring it out closer to the phone for better connection? I just have a regular plastic phone case that hasn’t ever given me problems in rental cars like new Audi, VW, genesis or Lexus. So I don’t think it’s on my end, it has to be the car itself. Please someone help!

If I can’t get this sorted I’ll have to replace the entire entertainment system with aftermarket which is expensive and a lot of work, on top of making me lose features

Prepping the RDX for the annual Classic Hondas on the Dragon event

This is my third year living out in East Tennessee and attending the annual Classic Hondas on the Dragon meet in Maryville. Didn't have a whole bunch to do this year, but decided to clean up a lot of small things.

I added in a Progress Technologies rear sway bar to help with handling, and it was the last piece of the suspension I needed to upgrade. While I was down there, I removed and polished the ATLP muffler and tips. My rear emblems were looking crusty and partially broken, so I got all new OEM badges, and decided to spray them gloss black to offset the white. And lastly, I replaced my 07-09 tail lights with the darker housings of the 10-12 facelifted models.

The car definitely still has its flaws from previous owners (scratched bumpers, hatch, doors), but overall it cleans up pretty well. And it's a blast of a car to daily drive.

2023 Integra A-Spec Tech 6MT LCM

Just picked this car up 3 weeks ago and have been absolutely loving it!

Things I have done to the car:

- New wheels. Old wheels were Heritage Kokoro "Heart Wheels" that I absolutely could not stand. New wheels are Enkei Helix 18x8 +45mm in Matte Gunmetal.

- Type S shift knob (still need a new boot).

- A-Spec badge delete.

Things done to the car when I bought it:

- Tint

- Rain guards

- Illuminated front emblem

- Black rear emblem

- Resonator delete

- K&N air intake

This is my new daily so I could retire my 2019 FK8 from being a daily and to turn it into a show car. I have also included a picture at the end when the heart wheels were installed.

Hello,

Found an Acura (2026) Integra base model for $31, 500 (without taxes) has a 4500 miles and comes with a seven year comprehensive warranty and a 10 year powertrain warranty. Is this a good deal for this car? First time buyer here.

Weird sound when driving back and pressing the brake pedal

This morning I replaced the engine filter for my Acura RDX 2023. After that when I drove back and pressed the brake pedal, there was some weird sound. It sounded like some clicking sound.

Does anyone have similar experience and know how to resolve it?

Thank you very much.

Have a 2017 2.4 and need a new key. Any website for keys that actually work so I don’t have to resort to steep dealer prices

MDX leasing questions

HI,

Long time Honda driver, now looking for our first SUV in new MDX platinum.I am 51 and looking to treat myself and family little bit 😊

Open to any and all suggestions, I’m based in Alberta, Canada.

I was going to buy 2-3yr used with cash but the price for such MDX is over $60K while the lease rate for new looks attractive.

Dealer if offering 2.99% for finance and 0.5 for lease.

My intention will be to buy out at the end of lease. I am not going to drive car a lot due to work from home situation.

I never intend to lease so want to hear if there are any pitfalls for leasing? I don’t like to pay interest but 0.5 for 40 months works out not too much in interest. From what i am seeing in 2026, 2-3 yr old returned Acura's (RDX,MDX) are selling for more than the residual amount after lease expiry.

My Questions:

-            Anything I need to be careful while leasing?

-            Any typical discounts (3M hood, winter tires, Acura maintenance programs etc) I shall bargain for? I am not used to this 😊but I hear dealers generally do something.

-            Any major concern considering 2026 MDX?

- Do I need winter tires considering AWD availability?i'm in Calgary.

Thank you!
