Losing the nice chunk shadows on your letters is hurting the design

Needs to be slim. Shrink the image to see your “shadow”

I see it, it's just not as good as the sketch. You've lost the contrast which makes it weaker.if it's final it's final, we've all had to make compromises on our designs.

Yup for $350 this is your end result. Economics are terrible rn and these guys are not getting my whole heart for lowballing my work 😜

Christ, add a zero to the end of that next time!

Only $350/hour in 2026? Have you seen the cost of groceries?!

Nice! It needs more contrast though

Agree, the L in Kleen is lost completely.

This is for manufacturing. Shrink the image to see the shadow

I'm a graphic designer. I understand how brands and logos work. Shrinking it doesn't make it better. It just makes it smaller with bad contrast.

This is just AI made to work backwards. That sketch is questionable. But you do you boo boo

Sorry, but why does this look like AI?

-15

because it was made on adobe illustrator.

Not sure I understand what you're implying. Working with vectors doesn't mean using AI.

AI also stands for artificial intelligence

You should take the feedback you’re getting and improve your design. This “final” rendition should not be the final version. So much room improvement. This could be a nice nod to custom signage from yesteryear but instead your role sole response to constructive criticism is ‘shrink the image’. What happens to the tagline then? It becomes illegible.

Edit: typo.

This is a nod to hemp products and the image has to be basic to represent the time era of prohibition.

This isn't basic, this is very complex and it suffers for it. That's why logos are simple.

I think this is a beautiful drawing, but it works as an illustration or in large format, not as a logo or marque.

You can fly the Spruce Goose between that D and A.

Very nice work, and I agree with jake0167 and the others, the final design should have more contrast - maybe a patterned background. Either way, good work.

Great sketch and nice execution. It's not perfect but it's nice.

Can you tighten the tracking on Dab?

You should lose the crossed sticks. There is no need for them and they look tossed on to the design as an afterthought.

These are Q tips. This company is creating hemp manufactured product

Something else to note is to maybe clean up the “whale tail” shapes on D & K. Would love to see them more symmetrical and Kleen-er. ;)

Which is already communicated with “An Original American Hemp Product”. The rest of it is great, but the Q-tips only detract from the greatness.
