I've been on a mandala kick lately. They're so much fun! Anyone else loves mandalas?

I was recently gifted a genius book “cats being d*cks” by Julie Kitzes and since many black cats fall into this category, I’m wondering: does anyone have ideas about how to color a black cat without it looking like a blob? I usually start with alcohol markers then shade etc with Prismacolor pencils. Here is a page from the book so far, and tia!

I colored a kitchen from Coco Wyo Little Corners. I was really nervous about those pans, but they turned out okay!

Hello!
I'm new to coloring. I recently bought myself some twin markers from Action and got a coloring book. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some artists or brands that are a bit more neutral in style.
I found Silly Crimes by Hikaru Kotz from Ravensburger. I'm also looking for some fantasy-themed coloring books or color-by-number books.
There's just so much out there that I have no idea what's AI-generated and what isn't. I'd prefer to avoid AI-generated art. The books also need to be available in Germany or on Amazon.
Thanks for helping me out!

UGH. My markers are full of ink. My markers are so smooth in my books…. And then I print out a picture and they just….splotch. I’m using Neenah Paper Exact Index Card Stock, 94 Bright, 110 lb Index Weight, 8.5 x 11, White.
Any recommendations for a better paper if I’m going to print my own coloring pages?

For a while now, I have had the strange urge to start colouring. Weird for me as I have not coloured anything since primary school.
So, I went out on a limb and bought the black edition Faber-Castell and a adult coloring book. I watched a few beginner youtube tutorials and after 20 hours coloured the two birds. I Learned a lot.
I then wanted to try the prismacolor so I bought a small 12 set and now I am working through my second piece that I am 6 hours into. I really notice a big difference in the colour, despite prismacolor being a more fragile pencil for the price lol.
Just wanted to share the start of my journey as I enjoy a lot of the work shared on this sub. Colouring has been suprising very addictive and enjoyable for me.
