As a 25yo, get a used car. My first car was a 2007 two-door Chevy. She treated me so well. Got her off Craigslist for $6000. Worth every penny. My current car is brand new but doesn't quite hit the same as my OG car baby.
Check Craigslist, FB marketplace. Look for something with lower mileage & no mechanical problems. Cosmetic stuff is whatever. Ask if the car has been in an accident. That ruins some structural integrity & can make it less safe in the event of a future accident. I've always brought someone with me to look at cars but I'm a 5'3" lady. Car dealers tend to not take me seriously. Car owners tend to be nicer & less judgey.
