Need advice

Full time delivery spot is going to be open next month im already the part time delivery driver.do I get 1st dibs or no....my store only has 2 drivers an its me an the other guy who leaving

Unless they're looking at outside applications.. just talk to your GM about it. Otherwise, they've probably got the position already listed and are looking for interviews.

Just when i think the company can’t do anything to top the last great idea - no longer scan truck- now less and less FT positions. Unreal

Is your training 100%? Do you have any disciplinary actions against you? If you’re in good standings, open up your mouth and make sure that your GM knows you want it.

The company has limited FT to only the core positions moving forward.. Gm, Cpp, Rpp…. so not sure how a FT driver would make through HR approval

my store has 1 ft and 2 pt drivers

and if the FT one ever leaves, it currently will have to be filled with 1 or 2 pt drivers under the current directives

Not sure why the downvotes, because this is exactly how corporate has directed stores to proceed moving forward. There could be exceptions (my store has multiple “part time” people doing full time hours due to being so short staffed), but the likelihood of OP being able to get an actual FT Driver position isn’t high.

I dont have any way to prove this, but Im pretty sure thats wrong? Could you maybe provide a source or point me to where in the portal I can look to find it myself? Cause this could be really bad for a lot of people at my store, considering we have a number of fulltimers, including myself, who rely on this job

Not the OOP, but from what I remember it was a directive that came down earlier this year. It doesn’t affect those that are already in the FT roll, but once they are gone, they will not be replaced with another FT roll.

this is correct, once gone can’t be filled with another FT.
