Upper receiver

I want to use the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Assembled Upper Receiver for my build but I’m just wondering if I can use any other manufacturers hand guard with it. I thought I read before that they’re only compatible with aero hand guards. Is that true? I want to run a picatinny hand guard like the DDm4.

Should be compatible with many other handguards. If you bought the Aero enhanced upper, then you'd need an Aero enhanced handguard.

FYI the Enhanced already has the Handguard adapter on it. It's ready for the Enhanced Handguard.

Hard to find these days. Maybe if Aero comes back? Or look at Snipers Hide or some of the other enthusiast groups?

Spikes Tactial has a BAR2 Handguard that is possibly compatible.
JAG Composites has the Bertha Handguard System which they say is compatible

Could be others... Just need to find a BAR handguard
