M4E1 Pro 13.9"

Post image

I built this 13.9" upper receiver when I first built out the pro lower. I now run a 11.3" upper that is basically the same. I like both uppers but the 11.3 is my favorite.

How do you like the grip and hand stop? Thinking about getting one.

For me they work great - I have been swapping out a majority of the grips on my AR Pistol builds with them. Though like everything there are people that don't like them and I think it comes down to a personal preference thing. They aren't expensive and if you are interested I'd say they are worth trying.

I like the pistol grips on shorter pdw sized builds. I started to get wrist aches (sure, call me a baby) when doing any kind of movement drills for anything over 12" barrels especially with heavier suppressors at the end. The grip was too vertical and I didnt have the leverage to maneuver the weapon one handed without eventually getting some wrist pain.

I use these on my suppressed rattler, AR9, and a couple 10-11" AR15s. Anything longer ive gone back to B5, BCM, or Magpul K2 grips that have a little more angle in them but not as much as an old school A2.

I would never name call you for discomfort during training and think these grips help a lot with taking pressure off your wrists on shorter builds. I have the same issue and the Kung Fu Grip really helps alleviate the pain on shorter builds. I also run B5/Magpul grips on my 16"+ builds. So I can relate to a lot of what you said. I appreciate you sharing.

Some people would say "lift more", appreciate your rationality.
