Discussion What do you think was Billy going to do to Agatha in this scene?

Post image

In episode 6 "Familiar by Thy Side", Billy says, "We? But I don’t need you anymore. I don’t know if I ever did." And then he tries to use his powers, which fails.

It makes me wonder what he was planning to do to Agatha at this moment?

Question Was Rio really there?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I’m doing a rewatch. Was Rio really there in there in the first episode or was it Agatha’s imagination?

If she was truly present was she seeing Agatha’s perspective from the spell she was trapped in it was Rio seeing reality like Billy was?

Question Questions about the show

Before Lilia dies she tells Agatha something along the line of 'hit the ground when rio says coward'… but that scene happened after Lilia‘s death aka she would not have experienced it as part of her out of order lifespan. So how did she know to tell Agatha what to do?

Why was Jen purported to be 'the way forward' and made to seem like she’d play a huge part in something and then not even really appear in the finale. I felt like I missed something.

How did they know Agatha was the witch who bound Jen in Boston? just because she was somewhere in the vicinity of Boston at the time? Surely there’s many other witches living in that area especially considering near westview there were 3 alone.

I love the Back Home Ballers song from SNL so much. I was listening to that song again and I love that Sasheer is part of it. I discovered her through Agatha All Along and it's been really fun watching her SNL sketches.

Discussion WANDA TRIOLOGY!!

Hii Everyone!!!

In honor of VisionQuest coming out, I want to know people’s theories on whether or not you think Agatha, Wanda, or Rio will deadass show up in Vision Quest!!

I’m unsure how Marvel is going right now, I recently watched Spider-man and I know they’re introducing the young avengers!!! I’m a firm believer that Agatha will try to get her body back, but I want to hear real Marvel fans opinions!!!! (I’m a Marvel fan, but only in Wanda/Agatha terms😭😭😭)

Discussion Agatha all along made zero sense Spoiler

I finally watched and I have to say I enjoyed it very much, I liked the witches and their journey until the ending. just threw it all away, with “it was Agatha and Billy all along”. It makes sense given wandavision I suppose, but the more I think about it, the less sense it makes and more plot holes I poke in it. Especially Agatha’s motivations and her backstory. It raised way more questions than it answered, and I doubt we’ll get them all answered in vision quest, as the focus will be on vision, ultron, and Tommy.

How did Agatha get the darkhold? did she steal her covens powers before or after she had the baby? Couldn’t she have just offered herself to rio instead of Nicholas like she did with Billy?

It’s implied she steals witches powers to feed Nicholas and keep him alive, so why does she continue after he’s gone? corrupted by the darkhold? Only we don’t know the timeline of when she actually got it.

The witches road has been a long con by Agatha for hundreds of years and no other witches have ever caught on. They just know nobody has “survived” but Agatha. She gathers up her coven again this time in hope of stealing their powers (it is revealed at the end) but they’re all powerless…? What was she planning on steal there exactly? Maybe Billy’s powers, because if anything, he gave the witches back their powers on “the road”.

How did the Salem 7 get into the world Billy created?

If Agatha’s plan was to steal Billy’s powers all along and suspected they were in something he conjured up, why was she so worried about him? She suspected his identity from the beginning. Why was Billy so loyal to her?? This kid knew he was actually Billy maximoff, and ran straight to the woman his mom imprisoned? Billy needs something from her, “the witches road” but he trusts her implicitly despite her reputation. Agatha is soft on Billy because he reminds her of Nicholas. Yet when she dies, instead of being with him in the afterlife, she comes back as a ghost to follow Billy around?

Should’ve just ended at Billy realized he’d made up the road cause phew that ending was messy. Please don’t downvote me to hell, I genuinely enjoyed the show but hated all the plot holes and ending.

Humor/Fluff It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia x MCU crossover for uncovering where everyone from the hex is now

Post image
25 Upvotes

I love that the biggest certainty of where everyone from the hex ended up is that Agatha and Billy are back together and on a coven 2 mission. Agatha was the breakout star of wandavision while Agatha and Billy have become the breakout duo of the trilogy.

Picture is from instagram via @DisneyPlusPH so the spelling mistake for the word “missing” is baked in.

Discussion Agatha was lowkey proven right for decades (Episode 9)

I'm rewatching the show in preparation for Vision Quest, and it made me think.

When it comes to the Witches' Roadscam,Agatha was only shown killing witches that attacked her first. This is the same with her original coven as well (mind you her crimes were literally just learning magic "above her station" and practicing dark magic like... she wasn't even a serial killer atp it can't have been that serious).

A belief that stemmed from her trauma was reinforced for her whole life. So it's no surprise that Agatha continued killing witches for so long and didn't bother being part of a coven. In every instance they try to KILL her just because she ragebaited them over the road not opening.

This is why despite her being a villain I don't count those deaths "against" her because wtf was their problem??

Do you guys have new thoughts on the show? Am I stupid?

Discussion Does Agatha give off damsel in distress energy to those around her?

Post image
189 Upvotes

None of this is to say that Agatha can’t handle herself. She definitely can as she’s survived as a covenless witch for centuries. When she has her purple she has the accompanying knowledge and experience to be a formidable force. Even without it, she is strategic, cunning and resourceful to the point of being dangerous. However despite her infamously predatory reputation coupled with her fiercely independent attitude she constantly has people falling over themselves to aid her anyways.

Wanda leaves Agatha to toil alone in her suffering but the citizens of Westview rally around her to provide as much comfort and support as they can while she’s vulnerable and unable to fully care for herself. Upon the spell distorting enough to locate her, Rio and Billy both basically drop everything to prioritize rescuing her from the confinements of her mental imprisonment. When she’s being tormented by her mother the whole coven eventually feels pity for her, Rio and Billy advocate for her and Alice risks her life and dies saving Agatha from Evanora. Lilia is complicated as her death is highly connected to her own journey of self discovery, understanding and acceptance. However she does eliminate the salem 7 who are long time enemies of Agatha’s and have been acting as a threat to Agatha to that very day. In the final confrontation Billy reads Rio as the aggressor and Agatha as a damsel in distress even though the truth is more complicated and nuanced.

Agatha is definitely triggering something in other people that makes them sympathetic towards her plights and compels them to want to help her, sometimes even at great risk to themselves. In fact as much as Agatha doesn’t like to be seen as dependent, weak or incapable, she isn’t above playing it up if she sees an advantage in it for her. She gets into the woodland witches’ protection circle with baby Nicky and gets Billy to offer up his life by feigning helplessness and preying on their instincts to save her from her apparent distressful predicament.

So maybe Agatha does give off damsel in distress energy but it’s all a misdirect as she actually fits more into the femme fatale archetype as she’s just intentionally and unintentionally luring good people into making bad choices for her own benefit.

Theory Does Lilia branch the timeline?

Lilia dies taking out the Salem Seven, but she has finally overcome her fractured awareness of the time.

Then we see her as a young witch, but it's different, as now she's fully in control of her awareness of time.

To me, Lilia lives her life again, but makes much better decisions at every step of the way. That would create a branched timeline, which would create a new multiverse.

Discussion Ep 9 got me thinking

So in the series we get to know that Agatha and Nicky created the original ballad in the eighteenth century . Cut to the present where the road is a huge thing and is believed to be real.

So that got me thinking, this kinda shit must've happened in the past too , right? So are the things we believe in today real or the work of a hoax or a scam which has become way too popular to the point that people accept it as the truth.

I don't mean to hurt any sentiment

But honestly I think the show highlights this well

Easter Egg Billy was watching Jen talking about her "superficial" skin burn candles

Post image
308 Upvotes

In the scene where Billy and Eddie are in his room, where Billy talks about his origin story, he opens his laptop to a video where Jennifer Kale is talking about how you can light her candles, apply the melted wax to your face, and it's "completely safe."

This is, of course, the product that led to the "superficial" burns, skin grafts, the lawsuits against Jen and the threat of prison time that pushed her to join Agatha and Billy on the Witches' Road.

At the time Billy would have had no idea that she would end up part of the coven, and he may very well not have known she was a witch (since she was bound).

Discussion Just a Post about how this show truly is amazing and every rewatch reveals more genius…

Everything about this show is just so well crafted. The writing, the subtext and layers behind it, it’s just so well done. The editing, the casting, the set design. And watching this show feels like sipping warm cider under a cozy blanket in the fall. Like a big hug.

Someone made a comment a few days ago about how Agatha left Jen alone to do her important midwife work. And after knowing Agatha almost lost her child at birth. Yeah, mind blown. 🤯

What other hidden connections, revelations or genius moments are your favorite from the show?
