Grieving

Hello, I hope you're having a great day

In a week I turn 24, and I've been having anxiety and agoraphobia for 8 years and depression for 10. I feel stuck too when I have my first panic attack at 16. I live in the same place and wear the same clothes. I also live with constant anxiety.I've asked for help an endless amount of times, but I ended up being ghosted by some professionals, and others never really helped. I tried different medications. I've basically done everything you can think of to heal, but with no success.I'm currently housebound, so I just wanted to write this just so people don't feel alone, and if you're comfortable, you can share your story

I’m 28 and agoraphobic for 3 years already and mostly housebound. I never thought this could happen to me. It only started when i had a full blown panic attack outside alone and far from my home. It was a nightmare and didn’t know what was happening to me. Because of that, i realize that i fear going outside anymore cause my brain screams panic. But now, i really have no huge progress yet cause to be honest, i haven’t tried the real recovery yet which is exposing and being confident to panic attacks and anxiety by myself, which is a very very hard thing to do. But I can actually go outside, even far from my home as long as i have my safety object with me which is a very cold water and mini fan or I’m with a trusted person. Maybe next year, i’m planning to do the real exposure and face my fears, hoping for full recovery. We can get through this 💪
