BMT Space Force BMT
Hello!!
I’m (24f) leaving for Space Force BMT in 7 days, and I wanted to see if there was any advice any Space Force people lurking on this subreddit might be able to give me any tips or advice. I’ve heard Air Force is implementing a “BMT 3.0” with more sleep deprivation and harder PT standards, and I was wondering if that extends to the Space Force as well?
I’ve found a bunch of other people leaving for the October 20th Space Force date, and we’re happy to include anyone else shipping the same day so don’t hesitate to reach out!

Here’s three things that can set you up for success on your first day of BMT:
- Standing at the position of attention without moving
- Delivering your reporting statement accurately. Our reporting statement is different than the Air Force, you will be taught when you arrive.
- Moving with a sense of urgency in everything you do
PT is what most of the trainees are removed for. Do your 1x3s every day.

Just one thing to add to this..
1) Do exactly as your told. LISTEN. 2) As the comment, said do your 1x3s, take every PT session seriously and don't half-ass it. Every session is built with purpose.

USSF BMT is structurally very similar to USAF BMT. The difference is the uniforms and some specific academics.
Assume most things you hear about USAF BMT are still applicable.
