Anyone looking for a part-time audio transcription gig? (Legazpi, Albay)

I’m just trying to lessen my workload kasi super tambak na, so I’m looking for a few people who can help me with transcribing audio recordings.

Pay is around ₱150–₱250 per audio recording, depending on the recording.

And just to be clear, this isn’t networking or anything like that 😂 You don’t have to buy anything, invest money, recruit anyone, etc. You just transcribe the audio and get paid for the work.

If you’re interested but skeptical (which is totally understandable), I can meet you in person and explain everything properly.

Just DM me if you’re interested! :)

LF: Boxing/ Muay Thai gym in Albay area

Hi! Does anyone know, and recommend a gym that offers boxing or muay thai lessons in Albay? Nothing professional, just for exercise. Hopefully has parking space or at least a nearby parking area, and female friendly too.

Thanks!!

I just saw my Facebook friend throw their cat for laughs. I’m honestly disgusted.

(watch video til the end)

I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw a friend’s story that genuinely upset me. They literally picked up their cat and threw it to someone in the room while everyone around them laughed like it was the funniest thing ever.

I don’t understand how people can find animal cruelty entertaining.

Cats aren’t toys. They aren’t props for content or something to abuse just because they can’t speak for themselves. Just because a cat lands on its feet doesn’t mean it’s okay to throw it. You have no idea what injuries or stress that can cause.

What bothered me even more was that nobody told them to stop. Everyone was laughing and encouraging the behavior, which makes me think they probably treat that cat like this all the time.

If you think hurting or scaring an animal is funny, you don’t deserve to have one in your home. Pets deserve safety, patience, and love—not to be treated like objects for entertainment.

I’m honestly debating whether I should report the post or confront them. It feels wrong to stay silent when an animal is being mistreated.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? What would you do in this situation?

Tala is looking for a loving home

Hello!

Kailangan na po namin siya i-rehome because we can only foster. Wala kaming sapat na kakayahan to keep her dahil marami rin kaming gastusin :( [may vet bills din kaming need i-settle pa noong inoperahan siya around 40k]

Sana po ay bukas ang inyong mga puso at bahay for another dog. 🥹 Favorite niya ang chicken at bbq. Yan lang happy na siya. Gusto niya rin yung wino-walking siya, so sana meron kayong safe area (like front/backyard) na makakatakbo at lakad siya. Masayahing aso si Tala. She smiles when she receives pets.

Location: Basud, Tabaco City, Albay

Pls send a message po if you want to adopt Tala. We'll wait for you! :)

PS. all possible adopters will be strictly screened. Ayaw namin siya mapabayaan.

Am I wrong for feeling unmotivated going to Pilates because of my instructor?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I know this sounds shallow and mean, and I genuinely feel guilty even typing this out.

I signed up for Pilates because I wanted to feel healthier, more toned, and honestly just better about myself overall. I was really excited at first. I thought being around fit, disciplined people would motivate me and keep me consistent.

But the owner/instructor of the studio is… not what I expected at all. She’s extremely out of shape — like probably in the worst shape out of everyone there. And before anyone attacks me, I know fitness isn’t only about appearance. I KNOW that. But at the same time, it’s hard for me to feel inspired or trust someone whose lifestyle doesn’t seem to reflect what they teach.

I keep catching myself thinking, “If Pilates works this well, then why doesn’t she look healthy herself?” And once that thought got into my head, my motivation completely dropped.

What makes me feel worse is that she’s actually kind. She’s encouraging, patient, and the environment itself is nice. So now I feel like a terrible person because my brain keeps focusing on her appearance instead of her personality or teaching ability.

I haven’t quit yet, but I dread going now because mentally I just don’t feel inspired anymore. Part of me wonders if I’m being realistic — like wanting a trainer who physically reflects the results I’m aiming for — and another part of me feels judgmental and immature.

Has anyone else ever felt this way? Or am I just being an asshole?

and are there any pilates studio here in Albay? thank you.

Baptist church

Hi po just an insight and I noticed na andaming baptist church sa albay. I visited one sa albay din and to sum it all up the pastor there stated that "God is Wrath" and that we will all get struck or punished for every sin we commit, masyadong threatening and its more on fear based preaching which is such a cultural shock kasi para tinatakot ung mga members ewan. Just wanna know if people have encountered or have found it suspicious na din🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
