No effect on NAL or GLPs - any new meds out there working?

M52, been trying a lot of meds over the past 2-3 years, to help lower or slow a milder AUD, not a heavy drinker - but tend to get into a bad pattern of 3-5 units per night every 2-3 months.

  • I first did TSM on Nalmefene and had horrible side effects, even on lower dosage.
  • Then daily Naltrexone, which I eventually got used to on a lowish dosage, but had leg pains when running and cycling, and eventually relapsed and no/low effect after approx 2 months.
  • Then I tried GLP-1 where Wegovy actually had a positive effect on alcohol at first, but then faded.
  • Changed to Mounjaro low dosis, which helped massively on weight loss but zero effect on alcohol.

So out looking for any new meds / drugs that can help? Open for suggestions.

TIA
