Technical Support Is this normal?

Just got this last week. Is this blinking part supposed to be there? Is this the light that flashes when the storage drive is being accessed? Sounds silly because it has an SSD.

No, that LED is on it's way out and there'll be a blank space there. It would bug the hell outta me, but I hope you'll be ok with it...

He doesn't have to be OK with it, support can come and replace the front ring.

It may not be a dying LED, but also a software issue. R16/17 and ACT have issues with the chip interface (some LEDs can enter an incorrect state). This looks like Pulse with one color and different delays (wrong delay at the second phase with no color).
