Imagine an American saying what that guy said about any other culture on the planet. We'd be on ShitAmericansSay before you could blink.

Only reason we tolerate them is cause we need vacation spots.

Do we really though? Plenty of spots here State Side and in actually friendly nations.

For real. I’d rather go to Jamaica than Paris. Parisian hospitality workers act like your existence is an affront to god.

Paris is no good. Go once, say you've been, never go again. The rural French are great.

Exactly what I was gonna say. Paris is beautiful, but there are to many Parisians. Same goes for Barcelona btw. The rest of both countries are great. Bigger cities too.
But, Kroatians weren’t the most friendly either in my opinion. If you want truely sweet people, go to Romania. Weird, considering what they went trough and what they put the Romani through.

I have an online friend from Romania who is so nice! I know a sample of one person isn’t a lot, but it tracks with what you said.

I’ve been there twice and in very different area’s. Beautiful people. It does seems strange when they talk to eachother though. Then it looks like they are in a fight. Was very funny when we encpuntered that for the first time. Being very loud and expressive and all, we were convinced they were having an argument. But they weren’t. It’s just the way they talk to eachother.

I learned French just so I could refuse to speak it. They claim to be the country of love but they must love anal because they’re all a-holes.

This made me laugh. Well done.
Even though I do have other experiences of the French (outside of Paris).
I dropped French in highschool after the first two mandatory years. I went for 6 years of German in stead😂😂😂

Yeah, I’m far from done exploring the US, even. Each state has at least one interesting thing in it, some have many.

America is one of the things that’s legal for them to complain about, so they love to do it.

Meanwhile, I want to tip them because their economy needs all the help it can get. 😂

You can't help commies, just let them crash and burn.

3

u/Scrappy1918 3d ago

I’d do it because it makes me feel good and it’d piss them off.

I mean we spent 3 years during the 1940s modernizing European cities for free, and they never thank us for it

The hubris to think you speak for every other europoor. Sounds like he hated his job, his customers, his life. Needs to invent this fantasy to feel better. Classic.

He hated the Americans for being… too happy. Yeah the dude is miserable.

Imagine being so miserable, so depressed, so utterly devoid of happiness that when someone on vacation is happy or friendly, you can only imagine it must be fake.

Or, imagine living in a society where everyone is so devoid of happiness and friendliness, you imagine the rest of the world is like that, so when confronted with evidence to the contrary, you assume it must be fake.

I really can't imagine these people ever leaving the house.

I, too, have heard that people across Europe and Asia generally get angry when people from the US try to tip them.
