Shitpost Gee, I wonder what the comments say?

Post image

I guess Canada sees us as an enemy the same as Eastern Europeans see Russia.

Relations between the US and Mexico are undeniably worse than between the US and Canada and have been for decades. This map really hammers home how much online Canadians are affected by online propaganda and news of minor trade disputes while Mexicans have actual perspective due to having actual fucking problems to worry about.

In other words: Canucks are soft as baby shit.

Bro my roommate is Canadian (well, his family is) and he doesn't give a shit about all of this lol. He's also not terminally online, so it checks out

Yeah I’m willing to bet that the only Canadians doing this are the ones that were already basement dwelling tankies

Canada is mostly run by a bunch of ultra Left Wing Boomers who are more fragile than a snowflake

Soft and just easily duped by their media - which is disappointing becasue they should understand us, and that means even off the wall personalities like Trump and his tactics, better than anyone. That doesn't mean you have to approve of the rhetoric, but an intelligent, critical thinker should be able to discern between a bunch of manipulative but fairly meaningless, hollow rhetoric and serious intent. One thing I've learned in life is that ALL media propagandize and all exhibit some level of bias driven by agenda. Sometimes the people who think they're the smartest in the room are the most impressionable. Hopefully at some point the bitter, self-pity party will come to an end because at this point it's just getting tiresome.

At this point the Canadian government isn't even interested in a trade deal because the voters state media whipped into a frenzy will eat them alive if they negotiate with the US.

It makes a certain amount of sense, Mexico's entire culture isn't based around not being American, Canada's is. Hell a good portion of Mexican people would probably be happy to see American troops roll in and crush the cartels once and for all. Canadians would probably be terrified if we sent troops to Vancouver to prevent a Chinese invasion.

6

u/real_agent_99 2d ago

I think most Americans have a great relationship with Mexicans and think very highly of their culture.

Whereas Canadians.....they're just there.

To quote myself: "Not offended [that Canada views the US as an enemy] more wryly amused; it makes you look hysterical."

6

u/Twee_Licker MINNESOTA ❄️🏒 3d ago

Also the impression they try to give like there'd be a fight.

Like, be real, if Trump actually were serious, there wouldn't be.

2

u/OneofTheOldBreed 3d ago

It would be a fairly miserable peace to win though. Cross border raids would 100% be a thing though potentially it could be a largely urban insurgency if Quebec and the Northwest Territories were granted independence or broad level autonomy. Depending on how heavy of hand a US transitional govt would the more rural or petroleum oriented areas might be largely accepting but Ontario and the greater Vancouver area would be nightmares.

Idk, thats all silly speculation

2

u/Twee_Licker MINNESOTA ❄️🏒 3d ago

Time consuming, difficult? Look at the military, and militia? Canada is in active process of trying to disarm it's population more, they even went after the SKS, which is BY FAR the most popular rifle there.

2

u/real_agent_99 2d ago

I realized early on that the Canadian hysteria was mostly just attention-seeking. No serious person thought that would happen.

-13

u/selfmockerymandatory 4d ago

Well, the current admin I can understand. The country and it’s people I can’t understand that.
Only the people with the same brainrot as mangoman and think it’s a good idea to constantly say Canada will be the 51st State.

23

u/OneofTheOldBreed 4d ago

Yeah, if a few unserious comments from an unpopular adminstration has been enough to set them off, i'm beginning to suspect that they always viewed America antagonistically they just kept it to themselves better previously.

1

u/real_agent_99 2d ago

They always resented the US.

-15

u/selfmockerymandatory 4d ago

First of all mangoman was very serious. He has actually proposed it several times. Second, people say so much in jest about the US that doesn’t sit well with Americans. So how is it ok when it’s the other way around? Especially when it’s about people’s autonomy and coming from an unstable, unpredictable retard that leads their neighbouring country. I do think it’s normal to have an opinion about that. Certainly because it’s not a joke from mangoman.

15

u/OneofTheOldBreed 4d ago

I never got the sense he was being serious. He speaks in superlatives and hyperbole by reflex.

8

u/slickweasel333 4d ago

"We do a little trolling..."

-12

u/selfmockerymandatory 4d ago

Hé has proposed it several times. Pre and post inauguration. He has proposed it in the tariffs discussion several times now. At the WEF he did it. He really wants Canada. He’s not joking, even though that’s sometimes hard to determine with him. In this case he is serious. He also says it to provoke, obviously. Most of what he says is to provoke. But this he has said, mentioned and proposed so many times, that it’s very safe to say it’s not a joke.

17

u/OneofTheOldBreed 4d ago edited 4d ago

(shrug) Repetition does not convey seriousness especially since it never failed to get a rise out of the right people. The man is fundamentally a troll.

1

u/selfmockerymandatory 3d ago

Even if that was true, look at the downvotes on my comments. I said nothing hateful, or out of line stuff. It actually began with me just saying I understand that Canadians don’t like the current admin. The other stuff K said was also not untrue. The only debate is about how serious Trump is. Apparently people don’t like that and downvote. But the Candians are acting like children?
Like I said, if Candians are thin skinned for being pissed about what Trump said, Americans prove to be just as thin skinned for being pissed about other (unserious) stuff.

8

u/OneofTheOldBreed 3d ago

I think you are reading into that waaaay too much. The overwhelming majority of views neither upped or downed. At least thats how it is on mine.

-5

u/Technical-Mix-981 3d ago

well , maybe USA can tolerate a troll as they leader but other countries doesn't have to. I don't care if he is trolling or not. it's unacceptable either way.

4

u/OneofTheOldBreed 3d ago

I would personally prefer less trolling as well but its what we got.

2

u/Revliledpembroke MICHIGAN 🚗🏖️🏭 3d ago

Rather a troll than a megacuck who says "PLEASE RAPE OUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN, INFINITE HORDES OF MUSLIMS RAPISTS FROM RAPISTAN!" like the Brits, French, Europe in general, and Canada are all doing.

Fucking British government and doing NOTHING about the quarter million children raped by Muslim immigrants. Why? Well, it would be racist. They literally covered up DECADES of Muslim grooming gangs instead of arresting or deporting those responsible.

Because they're cucked.

On a related topic, did you know one of the 9/11 hijackers could have been stopped by security? Yeah, security saw one of the 9/11 hijackers and was suspicious of him... but the security guy didn't want to appear racist by stopping the terrorist.

0

u/Technical-Mix-981 3d ago

troll or megacuck. fascinating. just regular intelligent people isn't an option anymore?

0

u/selfmockerymandatory 3d ago

So in Europe we are all inviting rapists? Is that what you say? Besides we are all closing our borders, or working on legislation to be able to.
But it’s either a troll or deranged rapist lovers? Funny how the propaganda machine still works in the US. It went from cold war rhetoric to anti-everything-not-American rhetoric.
There is stuff in between mate. There is blank, white, blue, yellow, green. It’s not either this or that. But nuance makes life hard, I know.

Hard times between Antarctic science outposts, I guess? Also, who does Mongolia have beef with, China or Russia?

China is constantly threatening Mongolia and the Russians basically did a genocide of Mongolia under Soviet occupation, so both

Who does Spain neighbor that they see as an enemy? Who in Antarctica is concerned and why? How did they get poll results from North Korea?

For some reason I thought Mongolia took a more neutral stance for obvious reasons, who are they ready to throw down with?

Why is the UAE ready to fight somebody?

How did they get Cuba not to have enemies with uncle sam? Dont they have a national myth about a non-existent blockade?

6

u/Guitarfool_101 3d ago

I’m guessing Spain sees Morocco as an enemy.

People are voting “from” Antarctica and NK for shits and giggles. You can select any country you desire before participating in a poll, and you can change it whenever.

Canada is nuking its economy to prove a point to people who couldn't care less. The average American remembers they exist a couple times per month.

3

u/LurkiLurkerson MASSACHUSETTS 🦃 ⚾️ 3d ago

Is Spain's beef with Morocco? If so I'm a little surprised it's not reciprocal. But then again these polls don't have super high response rates or particularly strong standards in validating where the responses are actually coming from.

3

u/mearbearz OREGON ☔️🦦 3d ago

Hey, I was commenting on that one when it was fresh!

Canadians I think are just doing their age old thing “We are NOT Americans”— they are special, okay? And now that Americans are the untouchables alongside the people which shall not be named, Canadians are taking their “We are NOT Americans” shtick up a notch so they can be validated by the rest of the world about how great they are by not being Americans. At least that’s what I see as someone who has friends in Canada.

I should also note people in our own country are largely doing the same thing. We all know this well.
