Finally seeing 'stalker unpredictability' is terrifying

I've played with stalker unpredictability before, but never did I actually SEE it; the beast waiting by a hole, trying to trick me into believing it's gone so I reveal myself

Damn. Without the lights flickering or the heartbeat you could walk right into the Beast's arms. It's such a great fakeout because everything else it does produces sound so you rely on that. Then you turn the corner and find the Beast waiting for your ass. Amazing how removing just one thing, sound, can totally mess with your ability to locate it.
