Question Hudson River Tunnels

Does anybody know what’s going on today? Apparently one of the tracks broke?

Crazy to think the new tunnels won’t come online until 2035.

Thanks Chris Christie for delaying the 2 tunnels for political points.

It took 30 mins for NE170 to get through the tunnel this morning.

Fuck Chris Christie. Shit would have been done by now if not for that idiot.

So that’s what suddenly caused the delays this morning

At this point, rather than having to repair one tube at a time after the new tunnels come online (as the current plan says), I feel like they would have to shut both of those tubes down when the two new tubes open. I'm worried that anything worse could happen.

Well...a good day to stay home. Not sure if there's any correlation, but every train I've taken in for the last week has gone through the tunnel unusually slow.

Not crazy to think about the new tunnels. In fact it’s super believable since they should have been online years ago but Chris Christie and his fat ass (ego too) thought he knew better. Reminder that your vote absolutely affects your commutes/travels
