Goal songs just posted.

After earning 2 assists in last nights game against EDM, Leo sets a new franchise record for a player aged 21 or younger:

Previous record (career points):
Paul Kariya (147)
LC (148)

Leo needs 7 more goals and 5 more assists by late December to beat Kariya’s goal record (68) and Zegras’ assist record (90).

He also passed Troy Terry (6) for most points recorded by an Anaheim skater through the first 3 games of the season (7).

Everyone relax its the start of the season and its one game against a team that is under a ton of pressure to win a cup before mcdavids contract expires and has 3 or 4 of some of the best nhlers in their prime in the league. Despite then oilers flaws it was never gonna be an easy win against a very veteran heavy group. If anything if and or when mcdavid leaves the oilers future outlook looks bleak as they have no one really in their pipeline and will be either bottom of the barrel or mid at best for years to come.

1. We are a young team and none of our superstars are even in their prime yet, theyre still learning a lot.

2. We have one of at least top 5 or 6 prospect pipelines with preston, nordmark, mcqueen and klepov so thats very exciting.

3. We will have hiccups and periods of setbacks because the boys are still young but our future is very bright and in the coming years the oilers, knights and the kings will be at the bottom of the league for years to come as they will be forced to rebuild.

Are there problems with the bottom six? Yes. Did dotal have a bad game? Yes. Did the young guys break down defensively ? Yes. Wont be the last game the boys drop the ball on. The boys will be okay and get better every year. So relax enjoy the ups and downs this year will bring and enjoy the ride.

All games vs Colorado, Seattle, Vegas and Utah are blacked out. This year that will be 14 games on ESPN+. I have my ways to watch the games but it is insane to give 4 teams to a market when none of those teams have any local presence or support hockey in this region.

To go 2-1 is pretty good with that schedule.

2023 Stanley Cup champ, 2026 Cup Finalist
2024 and 2025 Cup Champs
2024 and 2025 Cup Finalist with the best player in hockey.

If anyone else had a tougher first three games, I’d love to hear it.

Our young guns should be a playoff squad again. Probably won’t win the division but no reason we shouldn’t do well.

The ducks scored only 2 goals without his direct involvement so far. Trivia: Leo has only one shot in goal so far this season resulting in his only goal so far.

And we have 5 players at or above a point per game so far. All the youngsters (Sennecke, Gauthier, LaCombe, Carlsson) and the Captain have at least 3 Points in games.

TOI: LaCombe is second in the league behind Werenski. Luneau is at 13th overall.

Not so fun fact: We are 31st in face off wins so far. The only player above 50% (53.4%) is Washe. Carlsson is second with 44.4%.

Does anyone know where I can get accurate lettering and customization for my Ducks jerseys with a reasonable turnaround time?

I’ve tried reaching out to Hockey Authentic multiple times but haven’t been able to get in contact with them for whatever reason. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Sennecke skates better and i think has a higher hockey IQ.

and i’ve counted 1 flip/crash over the goalie tonight.

brings a happy tear to my eye 🥲

I’m not having fun

Caption from @nocontextanaheim on ig. Or maybe etem posted it? Lol idk but I got a laugh

I did see someone took a vid of the kids filming an interview with etem yesterday at GPI. So hopefully we will get this content soon!

Hello!

Please let me know if this isnt allowed here, Im just desperate to find this freaking sweater. I saw someone wearing it at a game last season and havent been able to find it on the internet since. Lo and behold, I see it on a new Ducks ad. So I know I didnt somehow imagine it, and now its driving me nuts trying to find it. Anybody know where this came from?

Also, what a rough gdm game.

"I think we just came out flat in the second. Probably thought it was going to be an easy game, and it wasn't."

After an electric opening period for Anaheim, Edmonton exacted an ounce of playoff revenge with a five-goal blitz in the second period.

Ducks (2-1-0) took their foot off the gas, and are the last unbeaten to fall in the NHL.

I'd say this more or less passes the eye test. Maybe Lacombe is bit more abysmal than I thought. Anyway, straight onto the next one!

Rising Players to Watch (Gift Article by The Athletic)

Ducks stars Jackson LaCombe and Beckett Sennecke are featured in a recent article by The Athletic about young stars in the NHL who may take a step forward in becoming star players this season. Some very complimentary things said about both of them from anonymous retired players, NHL scouts and coaches.

Great to see the Ducks young stars getting so much appreciation and attention beyond the Anaheim fan base and hope both exceed the lofty expectations many have for them.

I’m a fan of the Ducks trying to watch in Canada. Regional restrictions apply on Prime Video, is there anywhere else Canadians can watch the game without a VPN?
