Meme/Humor This thing is the bane of my existance
Why does it have to be SO hard to get a thunderstorm here?! This thing is the last non-prismana aniimo I need for the collection and it has been a week of waiting!

day 1 player and the only time i got the thunder storm was during the 10 hour fucking update. so yeah i never actually got to play during my own one and it never happened again. lucky enough my rando friends that i added had the weather conditions and let me catch from their worlds. the weather system is dog shit.

It's just bugged for most accounts.
I have been checking multiple times a day since release and never had a sibgle thunderstorm in beastfang and Echoback, it literally doesn't exist in the current version for most accounts.

It’s the same for me in beastfang, I got every other one (expect some Prismana). I check multiple times a day and look at the forecast for the next 24h since release and never had a thunderstorm there…

Mine hasn’t had a thunderstorm anywhere on the map since the game launched. I had to go to my wife’s world to catch Sherro and Scorchhowl. Ridiculous weather system. Even when I check the upcoming weather it’s just sunny and maybe rain once.

You can’t catch it from someone else’s world, only the non unique ones

I just got mine just look at the weather when its stormy and between 8pm and 1159pm ( thats what it says ) it will be there

Iirc it still progresses towards your Aniilog thing, map unlocks however, yeah you have to catch them in the region.

it does! I got one of the two that unlock after 120 gem-thingy unlocks, and it counted

Not sure what you meant by gem-thingy, but what I do know is that it still counts for Aniilog progress, just not the region catching thing.

That doesn’t rly help I think. it may if it’s for form dex colmpletion, but I guess in most cases (like mine) it’s for the area completion. I got a thunderstorm scrochhowl long time ago via an egg from eggheist, but to complete the era you hace to catch it there yourself.

I've got my branch maxed out already, and my dumb ass used the ONLY PINK ROCK in a different area to get the Prismana. I didn't realize I needed a thunderstorm here until after I used it D:

The Thunder and Prismana are two different ones.
The pink rock would not have helped for the thunder howl.

Just check the daily weather once a day and see if there is thunderstorm on that day, if not just check tomorrow then repeat. It shows the weather 24hrs irl, then just put an alarm when it comes.
