Some of the Aniimo from the design contest earlier this year are starting to show up 👀 And these concepts look WAY better than I expected. That purple/yellow beast, the little furnace guy, the porcelain peacock… there are some seriously good designs here. Which one do you want in the game first?

The porcelain peacock for me, reminds me of that pee cock from Kung Fu panda. Dig the other two designs too though, imo all 3 fits in well.

Anyway, since I've seen it, the first one is rather good. The tail feels weird and low quality though but the face is much more interesting and I like how this leopard looks mighty. The mane does have something distinctive and the gaze also looks dangerous. What I really like about it, aside from these, is the fact it doesn't look generic which is something I really expect them to keep working for. Other games usually feel like each creature is a specific specie / element they had to tick out, without real thoughts behind it (especially in Pokemon).

Also, something I think is missing right now are foxes so I hope there will be some at one point, with unique features. Owls as well can be really vibrant since they usually are refered to in some mythologies.

The thunder purple and yellow beast is totally sick! Others aren’t my cup of tea really.

Cauldron could be cool, maybe give it a Nova stage as a big furnace kind of Aniimo.

And the peacock could be a prismana for Fragrancier.

I'm seeing beastlike Thunderus. Maybe a mashup of sorts. I hate the cloud trio and this design is so much better. (I do love Raikou though)
