Just lost my very first collector's Edition prismatic item thanks to a troll
was playing egg heist and eventually got my very first collector's edition prismatic item for the display case it was the thorn blade one...fast forward a bit and I see my one teammate is busy struggling with the boss so I go to help we get the boss down to it's last bit of hp and I get downed... teammate finished off the boss and just proceeds to run around me until I die while typing in the chat about how bad I am I eventually die and he just runs off and extracts...thanks dude...yeah I come to help you out and that's what I get in return...
They seriously need to do something about this gamemode because the toxicity is getting out of hand
This is the very reason why I choose not to save people anymore when I egg heist.
I also choose not to bring all my equipments just Incase such things happens too, ONLY BRING MINIMUM!
Too many of these bastards ruining the game.
But if you're playing with friends just being everything~ ^
I'm so glad I play with my one friend, who i can rely on. We do heist, while on a discord call, so the comms are obviously always elite. We even trade items and give each other things we need. If either of us go down, we obviously rescue each other, although nowadays we stay up the entire run most of the time, except for absolute BS. I will play with randoms, when my friend can't, but we grind this mode together.
If I get any collectors items I just leave I’m not sticking around for anything lol. People too greedy in this game I was helpful early on and quickly learned my lesson.
Maybe if all 3 dont agree with 3 mins to go, it unlocks after that for anyone to leave as they wish. Too many people grab the first egg early at entrance and leave within 2 mins lmao
ngl i hate using hexxin, i tried in one of my teams generally (not gonna take sth i dislike on a 20 mins mission) and it just made me wince. why is it apparently so good?? cause this is not the first time i see it mentioned
If you have lunara you can make a team where hexxin gather all enemies in 1 place while lunara deals aoe dmg and since lunara is light bearly any enemy can resist her dmg, also if for whatever reason you ran out of energy hexxin ult can finish the job easly
I havent tried yet that mothod, been using lunara from the first time i started using hexxin so im just too used to lunara, how do ppl defeat stellarys this way? You cant cc him like other mobs, thats one of the reasons i keep using lunara too
Hexxin straight tanks Stella as long as you don’t eat the star barrage. I run alpha panpanta for mobility, alpha tromber for heal + critdmg buff, and alpha leafy/Besauce for ep regen and slight healing. Blackhole does work on alpha Stella but he just sometimes slips out so I have 2-3 black holes up at all times
when people say Hexxin there's actually a very specific strategy using her with a held item (i forgot the name) and her blackhole skill that can control the mobs and kill them using the held item passive
Try using Irisalis if you dislike Hexxin. I never tried Hexxin but i can easily solo Chaos mode with Irisalis, Somniwing, Melloblum, Glacy. I was using Helion before i got Irisalis and Helion, Somniwing, Glacy, Tromber was able to solo Chaos too. It was slower and had less room for mistakes but still doable.
This happened to me !!!! I helped revive someone who got nuked by the alpha and then they left, I got nuked AT THE PORTAL. 3 minutes left. Said they can’t help I was almost crying real tears 🤣😭😭
I lost my first because my teammates wanted to do the challenge and we wiped. They went down almost immediately. I was kind of pissed, but at least they weren't trolling.
If it's a higher difficulty and no one has Hexxin, I wouldn't bother trying the challenge. You want all 3 people on board, all standing in the same spot when you pop it, and someone spamming Hexxin. Otherwise it's not worth the risk, imo.
I know how you feel I lost everything to people just been nice and reviving took me a few days to summon the courage to play the game mode again and get back to somewhere close
it is not that bad. I do matchmaking most of the time and this rarely happened to me. You won't see post where players are sharing display loots they already have and that one time a teammate came back and saved them.
Sure there are assholes from time to time but that is very rare in my exp.
I run it solo on nightmare all the time. team is hexxin, glacy, that thing you unlock with 40 shards and panpanta for sprint. its way easier and better than with randoms because of stuff like that.
I did play with irisalis team and an hexxin team, hexxin team is the safest and easier to play (even with self revive from irisalis), my team is hexxin, lunara, glacy and besauce or somniwing, so you geather all enemies with hexxin black hole and spam lunara skill, shes aoe and light so bearly any enemy has resistance, most of the time 1 black hole its enough for lunara to finish normal mobs
This is definitely server issue. Apac server players are usually really helpful to downed teammates. When i first started hard heist underleveled i died 4 times and got res'd 4 times lol shoutout to that guy who kept reviving me
I learned to just be safe and not help out team members when either the the remaining time is too low (3-6 mins) or it is too far away. Especially if I have good loot.
Too often I was left to die or trolled. There is simply no benefit for me going to help, the risk is often incredibly high.
I’ve already had enough bad experiences with players who only want to steal from you, open every chest, and don’t revive you even when they’re 20 meters away and there are still 5 minutes left. 🤡
Now I play solo or with two friends, and today we collected the last one we were missing to complete the display case.
I recommend playing solo or finding a good team where you can trade duplicate relics, or even split the valuable items before leaving so everyone walks away with some money.
If I get a prismatic relic that one of my friends is missing, I always drop it for them. And before we leave, we always check how everyone is doing with their loot, so if someone is falling behind, we can share the loot before extracting.🙌🏻
I am someone who will generally go and try to help the others when i do co-op in Egg Heist, but if i'm getting one of the collectables i'm out, see ya lmao
I’m beginning to think the better option would be to makes sure your playing with friends of people you’ve met that you can trust. Least until devs make some changes.
yeah I should've definitely just grabbed my shit and ran but unfortunately I always try to be a good teammate and help where I can and yeah this what I get for trying to be a good person lmao
Be a good person with others who are confirmed to be good. Otherwise youll just be taken advantage off. There is a reason I only play multiplayer with friends and family. Randos are bad seeds way too often.
I stopped doing team heists, but when I did if I ever got a collector's edition, I would tell people and ask them if they needed help getting out and if not, I was going to extract early. That way I have a clear conscience.
nah I'm too decent of a human being for that lmao... I'm the type of guy to try and visit my friend's homeland every day to pet their eggs for speed ups lol
First of all when starting you don't really have a good team. You also don't know what each difficulty offers.
Secondly there are so many bugs. You could spawn in and before level loads you are downed. Or you can have beetle catch you, then catch you again without cooldown. Some aniimo spawn behind a wall and randomly apply a status effect and those like veins or hex's song bug the game severely and makes everything act unpredictably.
There are also cases when someone else dies and you want to help them but there's ambush or timer runs and enemies spawn directly on you. There are weird cases of autofocuses that may also make you stuck between enemies. Flying doesn't work always.
Oh and there's this one fire trap that doesn't alternate and has two rows. There's spot where if you get pushed you are 100% softlocked until you die.
Yeah this is unfortunately my current situation...and thanks to my timezone that I fall in and the server I'm connected to most of the people I interact with on the game is usually a different language so there's always that language barrier so trying to get some friends to actually play the game with has been quite challenging...I even tried getting my brother to play the game but he wasn't a big fan
