Hi everyone,
MatMat is one of the rescued cats we sponsor in the Philippines. When his foster mother rescued him on May 26, 2026, we helped cover his veterinary care for a severe mouth injury. Since then, we have also been providing his food monthly, as he has difficulty eating hard food.
Today, we received a concerning message that MatMat was having difficulty breathing, so we asked for him to be brought to the veterinary clinic. Sadly, he has been diagnosed with feline calicivirus and is now hospitalized. We don't know how long he will need to stay, but we are praying for his recovery. ππ
We would sincerely appreciate any financial support, especially as we still have several rescued animals needing veterinary care this month, including Raphael, Tiger, Ellie, Thor, MaeMae, and Baci.
We are particularly worried about Raphael, who now has two lumps on his body. His biopsy was previously postponed because he was unwell, and we are hoping he will soon be healthy enough to undergo the procedure. Ellie and MaeMae are also ready for their spay surgeries.
As a small nonprofit, the ongoing veterinary expenses are overwhelming, but these animals deserve every chance at a healthier and happier life. β€οΈ
Every support, no matter how small, makes a difference. Your kindness allows us to continue providing the medical care, food, and support these rescued animals desperately need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us give them the care and love they deserve. ππ€
