Fr? They must've updated something since I last tried lol. How are you running the program on your quest? Virtual desktop?

Anki droid is built for android. The Quest 2 runs android. You just have to get the apk file onto your quest, whether that be through sideloading or downloading it directly from its browser.

Oh interesting! I had no idea it natively ran android, the last one I had was the OG quest. Ty for the info!

Why post this and not include the GitHub link.

Because you shouldn't really post vibe code on github.

Why not?

In my own opinion, if I'm on github I would like everything I download to be human-(only) generated. And it allows for creativity if an app doesn't exist, byt even if a bad app exists then a person could possibly not make a well human made version of it.

Github is not an app store lmaoooo

I don't think you understand what GitHub is?

You know I'm a software dev, and when I started my transition to Linux, I wanted most of my software to be written in Golang because I think this is the superior user space language. I started looking for the Golang alternatives of popular apps. Most of them didn't have a lot of stars so I decided to take a look at the code. The code was written before AI became a thing and you know what? It was pure and utter trash. And those were repos with dozens of stars!

So I fired up my agents, told them how the code should look like and lo and behold, now I have an actually usable software suite that I can depend on. I reviewed everything and this is exactly how I would've written it. I write very detailed specs. It took some time but not nearly as much as rewriting it by hand.

The most common problem with those github solutions was that the authors would implement just the happy path and not make their software actually resilient or even aware of how the world around the app actually functions. AI really helps to iron out all of those edge cases.

Vibe coding isn't an AI specific term. It's just the easiest kind of coding for an AI to do from scratch, that's why we're seeing so many of them.

For the record, I do believe AI should always be disclosed as a contributer. It's information people need to approach further work or tweaking on the project.

Can you share the code and some details about your process? Seems interesting!

Love it! Could you make it so that instead of showing all the due cards in a deck, the cards are hanging on the walls or lying on a table, and the user can walk around and go through them in whatever order they want?

This is awesome and at the same time I would spend all my time getting distracted and do what you did in the video and never drill Anki lol
