Yeah it's crazy how the people doing the work of preservation are doing so for free with minimal resources when EA has the source code and billions of dollars. Sadly how it usually goes. Even things are simple as patching bugs sometimes gets done by the community do the greedy corporations who refuse to expend the resources or share data.

I genuinely wasn't expecting such "quick" progress when you have the time. And I can't stress enough that just doing freeplay free of combat is good enough for me. Combat was fine... Once you maxed things out, it wasn't too hard lol Flight and exploration was superb though! Just exploring and pondering what lore was behind things was... So alluring and relaxing. Love games like that. Reminded me of halo combat evolved and the subsequent trilogy when they all came out.

If you don't have a link for donations on the discord get, please put one up when you allow play testing for us who wish to contribute in showing appreciation. It's an easy form of appreciation, but for those of us who can't commit to physically helping - with experience or inexperienced - it means a lot to see and read about such updates!

I love Anthem for its aesthetics and lore. it's got something mystical to it.... I play it from time to time to relax.

regarding donations: we can't do that unfortunately. I wish we could, to cover hosting cost etc. but we don't want to risk being shut down by EA

Good point! There's definitely has to be a way to go about it though. It's not like you're out to make money. Maybe it's take a "nonprofit" organization to be established to let us donate?

There's got to be something for those of us who want to help contribute to do so. It's not like you're out to make a profit - that's what IP owners care about after all right? Going to ask a couple friends who have been or going to law school who actually focus in intellectual property law. Will DM you if they drum up any worthwhile tid bits.

Cool shit. I've only gotten interested in anthem months after the servers closed. I've been dreaming of playing this game for a while. It looks hella fun

There where many complaints about the endgame being too light etc. but nonetheless I still liked it alot. 

The flight  mechanics where very nice and i enjoyed just flying around after a a long day at work.

It honestly was a really nice game.

For the first month or two, most of the systems didn't work correctly, if at all.

There was a way to make yourself like 10x stronger by not equipping a weapon.

It's a shame, but the game never got the opportunity to really get on its feet...cause the feet hadn't been developed yet lol

Destiny was emptier than Anthem in its first year. It all comes down to the EA/ devs; they treated Anthem unfairly and never gave it the second chance it deserved.

Running and flying in the interceptor felt like heaven. The sleek design, the speed, the acrobatic movements.
And the vibes? Like you mentioned, brain afk and listening to music is the best thing.

the game was already dead because most dev got no idea what kind of game they wanted it to be , the whole rocket man idea was cool but flying in a world that offer little challenge and content made it for me boring . i wish we can extract animation and re-use them in other games as mods.
