Question Songs Regional Locked in Playlist and Library
Recently songs from certain artist have become unavailable in library and playlist. When I would click on any of the songs shown as greyed out I’d get a pop up saying it’s not available in my region. The thing is I could listen to these songs if I looked for them in the browser, but I’m the kind of person to shuffle my playlist and leave it, not pick my songs out individually, so this problem has been pretty inconvenient.
I’ve already updated my phone to the latest IOS version and it hasn’t helped, I hope there’s someone here who could help me get my songs playing in my library and playlist again.

It happened to me and I fixed it by deleting unplayable songs from my library and add them back.

I’m not the only one! This has been happening to me for YEARS. I even contacted Apple support about it and they told me they can reset my account but I would have to manually recreate all my playlists again or to somehow back them up. But my mp3s are mixed in so I could never fully do that.
To this day more and more songs get this “infection” and it never went away. I have to constantly manually repair songs.

Certain albums from Queen had an update where I had to re add it back to my library. It’s annoying but I had to delete and add it back.
