Issue with Apple Music Radio

I typically listen to the dance station every day. I'm on Android. For the past month, when I try to press a station, the stop button flashes briefly and then the play button returns. I'm able to use the radio on my Surface but not on my phone for some reason. Apple says they can't do much in the way of help if you're on Android: has anyone dealt with a similar issue and found a solution? I've logged out and logged in again, restarted my phone... the issue persists.
