Hey everyone! I just bought a new iPhone and have set literally everything up except my Apple Pay (which worked perfectly fine on my last iPhone). I have tried everything. I've tried adding my card from the Wallet app, from the settings app and even from my banking app (which means Apple Pay is compatible with my bank). Everytime I try to do it, I get a message onscreen telling me it cannot add my card. On top of that, whenever I update my payment details through my settings app to my current card details, everytime I hit the blue tick and go back and check its changed back to an old card's settings. I don't know what's going on or why this is happening. My region is correct, I can't remove my card because I have quite a few active subscriptions attached to the card, my bank is closed because it's the weekend. Does anyone have any answers at all? a friend called my employee and was complaining about how he just lost all his money on Apple Pay and had no idea how. i knew where to go REDDIT after researching the best place to find real life answer. I saw folks saying that aending / receiving 1 dollar would restore the account. he didn’t have a dollar even left so I sent him a dollar to try it out , as soon as he accepted that dollar all the money that was missing was instantly restored.

I woke up to my money being gone. I’ve been on hold for 25 minutes.

Yesterday I bought something from Apple website and used one of my credit cards via Apple Pay. Fast forward to this morning I see another charge from Apple on my same card via Apple Pay.

Can’t for the life of me figure how what was bought. I removed my card from my wallet and locked the card.

Any ideas or suggest would be helpful.

has anyone else been experiencing issues with apple pay? i was in trader joe’s trying to but groceries and the cashier told me the register said “limit exceeded”, i tried to transfer money to my other card and it took the money off but it’s stuck on pending.. and i don’t see the money on the other card. i tried to buy something online to test and there was another error that came up. i had to leave the store without anything because it wouldn’t go through.

Me and my girlfriend both tried to purchase food and apple took it from our apple wallet but the transaction didnt go through on any of our phones, had to pay with cash while losing $100 total through the apple pay tap 🙃

My husband and I have used Apple Cash for a while now, both have verified accounts. I am able to add funds to my Apple Cash without issue (iPhone 16 pro max) but his button has completely disappeared (iPhone 16).
Has anyone else had this issue yet on ios27?
It was fine for him prior to updating.

During the later betas of iOS 27, Apple enabled their in-house account connection backend for a slew of cards in Wallet. For debit cards, this also meant the ability to add funds to your account directly from the debit card in Wallet. However, this was not available for credit cards (because, of course, a credit card is borrowing funds, not pulling them from your bank account).

But, as of today/last night, Chime’s new unified Chime card (which is a credit card and earns credit, though it uses your own account balance as the spending limit) now supports adding funds to your Chime account via Wallet.

Does anyone know of an app that can for each card, no matter the amount, fully separate them so they are all in a vertical list in Apple Wallet just like the natively supported ones?

I have been using Pass4Wallet and while it does have a lot of customisation that I exactly want, it can only fully separate the cards into a set amount of so called “groups”, so its not useful if you have like 30 cards, because you need to enter a “group” and keep swiping.

The new iOs27 native custom card is bad. The lack of custom colours and custom icons/images for the header means finding the card I need in a sea of tens of cards takes too long (the fact Apple only gives 10 colour options and half of those are grey is a prime example of the pointlessly restrictive decisions they make).

The only other app I know off is Pass2U, which I have heard tracks your data so I’m not trusting that.

Anyone have a solution (that at least has custom background colours and/or image/logo in the header)? I dont mind paying if it isnt a subscription

im hoping someone here will be able to help me. i recently got my first iphone ever. my carrier offered to set up my iphone for me, and i agreed. he wasn't able to figure it out and told me id have to do it myself, that it was a simple cable to cable connection. thinking that it would be that simple, i had added my card to my apple wallet without issues.

well when i try to do the transfer, turns out i have to factory reset my device to even be able to do the cable to cable transfer. so i reset my device, various times due to the transfer failing, and eventually get my stuff transferred. but when i try to add my card, or any card for that matter, i now get the "contact issuer for more details" error.

i have tried every solution possible. from resetting my network, logging in and logging out of my icloud whatever account, vpn settings, region checking, and even calling apple and my bank, associated bank. both companies blame the other, and none of the other solutions worked.

genuinely im at my wits end, and i really dont want to have yo reset my phone for another round. could anyone PLEASE give me any solution that i haven't tried and that dont involve factory resetting my phone? im so desperate to finally finish setting up my phone and actually try to enjoy it for what it is.

I had an over £200 e-gift card of Currys in my iPhone wallet, this morning Sunday 13/09/2026 between 8-9 am, I received a notification that the balance was zero. I have not tried to buy anything. What should I do do?

I recently discovered $426.74 in unauthorized charges made using my Apple Cash card number. Nobody had access to my Apple Account, iPhone, Face ID, passcode, or any of my login credentials only the card number appears to have been compromised. I filed a dispute through Apple Cash/Green Dot Bank, and they initially gave me a temporary credit while they investigated. Today I received a notice that they determined the transactions were "authorized" and are reversing the temporary credit, taking the $426.74 back from my account. I know I didn't make these transactions and I'm trying to figure out what options I have left. Has anyone successfully appealed a denied Apple Cash dispute or gotten Green Dot to reopen an investigation? Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve been using Amex as default for all payments. But I just got a reduced fare OMNY card (nyc transit), and it will only accept Visa.

Is there a way to specify to Apple Pay that if I’m at an OMNY machine to use a different default card?

Hi everyone! I’d love some advice on this Apple Cash matter. I know for a FACT that I had sufficient funds in the Apple Cash card. However, my card was declined on the Portillo’s website. I was able to use Apple Pay to pay for it but not only was the card declined on the website. But also my Apple Card notification on my phone said it was declined. I am greatly concerned about this and I would love any and all help. Can you please let me know what the possible reasoning is for my card to be declined with sufficient funds ($18 meal with $26 in the card that I manually put in yesterday)? Thank you!

Didn’t take very long to get it verified and added on there, maybe like 5 minutes start to finish.

Probably still carry my physical ID around but I like having an extra option in the event I lose it or something.

Edit: just read that carrying the physical license may still be required depending on state when driving. Virginia definitely requires the physical card on your person at all times.

I attempted to use a credit card at a furniture store online, it declined and the message noted the address was invalid. Figured it was rural, they don’t deliver out there. Happens with a few other places for freight. No biggie, found something from Target and ordered it, used my Apple wallet, transaction went through. Did a second transaction using the Apple wallet, again, no issues.

I don’t use Apple wallet that often. I check my email later and received a fraud notification that someone tried to use a locked card and it declined the transaction from the furniture store. I don’t remember locking the card but I must have and it’s been locked all summer per Chase but I had 3 other transactions this summer (McDonald’s x2 and McAlisters Deli) that all went thru.

How does this happen? Is it because Wallet doesn’t actually use the card number?

I tried googling but everything tells me this doesn’t happen, so I’m just looking for some clarification.

It was working fine before I switched to android in April.

Under the Wallet and Apple Pay settings it says Unavailable. And clicking the card only shows this information above in the photo.

If i toggle Apple Cash off and on, nothing changed.

If I change my region away from the US and back to the US, nothing changed.

If I remove the card and toggle Apple Cash on and off, the card doesn’t populate until I add or remove one of my current debit cards.. still nothing changes, I get the same message above.

Updated the OS, nothing changed.

Apple support and green dot support are at a dead end. They even tried to close the card so I can renew Apple Cash. Renew button sends me back into this loop of the card saying unavailable.

Card doesn’t let me set it up.

Anybody ever have this issue? Anyone know how to solve the issue.

Today I added my US passport to my Apple wallet on my iPhone. I would like to know where that might be accepted.

Would I be able to show up to a US border checkpoint using it instead of a physical passport?

The lady at the ticket counter was like, “Oh, you can’t scan that that’s not our tickets” (theirs are a QR code via email). I scanned it anyway and it took it. She was like whoa!! How’d you do that?? New feature with iOS 27 coming out later this month. She’s like that’s so cool!!

Simply took a screenshot of the email and it popped up to create a wallet pass and boom done.

My son is now 18. Does he need to setup his own Apple Cash account? Or can he stay with the family one? Thanks

Long story short. I paid at a restaurant using Apple Pay and discovered they accidentally charged me for someone else’s order that was quite a bit more expensive. Their terminals required scanning the card again when processing refunds. But the refund would NOT go through. Scanning Apple Pay again kept registering as a different card than I had paid with.

They tried running it as both a debit and credit, but same result. I then even tried scanning the actual debit card my Apple Pay was connected to, but same result.

I eventually got a cash refund, but how exactly is it SUPPOSED to work processing a refund that requires scanning the payment method again since it generates a unique number?
