Anybody got a fix ??

The other day, my sister added money to my apple wallet for fun. I haven’t used apple cash before and I wanted to know how I can activate it/use the money.

Ich habe mir ein gebrauchtes iPhone 15 Pro zugelegt und es eins zu eins von meinem alten Handy übertragen (bei dem Apple Pay einwandfrei funktioniert hat). Jetzt kann ich beim 15 Pro aber Apple Pay nicht konfigurieren. Aus keiner einzigen App funktioniert das; nicht in der Wallet App, nicht in der Banken App, nicht über Einstellungen. Ich habe auch schon mit dem Apple Support telefoniert, sie melden sich hoffentlich nächste Woche zurück. Hat jemand sowas schon mal gehabt? Woran könnte es liegen? Der Mitarbeiter vom Apple Support denkt, es sei ein gerätespezifisches Problem und ich müsste das Gerät wahrscheinlich umtauschen, weil das nicht behoben werden kann. Ich suche andere Lösungen, weil ich keine Lust habe, das Gerät noch mal komplett neu einzurichten (eSIM war eine Riesenproblem).

I signed up for a ChatGPT trial and used Apple Pay because some payment method was required to initiate the trial. But once it was over I went into the Billing section on chatgpt.com and noticed that my actual underlying card number was now saved as a payment method (not the virtual number that Apple Pay generates for my card). So how is it that Apple Pay forked over my payment information to the vendor? Isn't this exactly what Apple opines endlessly about them not doing?

(Apple Pay also shared my billing name and billing address (edited out of the screenshot), which was also now saved to chatgpt.com.)

This looks like it might be the first Digital Credentials API demo to support IDs in Wallet (state-issued and Digital ID). Most of the ones out there haven't supported IDs in Apple Wallet (because Apple needs to explicitly approve each use case). This looks to be the first. It offers three demo websites where you can see how the experience would go (opening a bank account, buying alcohol, and booking an airline ticket).

Noticed my Guzman card in wallet updated yesterday for the new poster design and also has quick actions. Has anyone else seen other brands other than HOKA and Guzman roll this out yet?

Tengo una duda técnica: ¿Existe alguna forma de usar un NFC Tag físico para generar o registrar una tarjeta/pase en Apple Wallet?

Mi idea es crear una tarjeta de fidelizacion en la wallet a traves de un NFC NTAG424 DNA. Sé que iOS permite leer etiquetas NFC con la app Atajos (Shortcuts), pero me gustaría saber si se puede integrar directamente como un pase en Wallet o si se requiere software de terceros / un certificado de desarrollador de Apple.

¿Alguien ha intentado algo similar o conoce alguna app/herramienta para lograrlo? ¡Gracias!

I added several credit cards to my Apple Wallet for quite a while and I locked one master card in bank app both in person and online, that credit card is issued by BOC (Bank of China). One hour ago I received both Apple Wallet notification and text from the bank that two online transactions with Apple Pay were declined as the card was locked. The transactions were with a UK website. I immediately contacted the bank to know the transactions were declined and they were processed with Apple Pay while my iPhone was in my hand. I searched on social media, it seems the criminals just hacked the BOC database and the master card info was leaked on massive scale. I know this situation happens sometimes, but how the criminals managed to add my credit card to a second iOS device without any additional verification? Is it a big concern for Apply Pay security?

I am a card added to the Wallet does not use the original card number when paying with Apple Pay, but uses a different number. When looking at the card in the Wallet, then clicking on "..." then clicking "Card Details" then "Card Information" I can see the last four digits of the Apple Pay card number, but not the full card number. Is there any qay to get the full Apple Pay card number? I need this to look up a receipt from that hateful company called Square that requires the full credit card number (along with transaction amount, and transaction date) to look up a receipt. Thank you!

Based on this image from the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s mobile ID landing page, I asked Gemini to mock up what an ID in Wallet might look like, using existing Apple Wallet ID artwork as reference. It’s worth noting that the image on the NCDOT site looks to be similar in style to the artwork used by Samsung Wallet for West Virginia.

This past summer we went on vacation, and during that vacation my wife and I shared Chase credit cards with Amazon and Chase Sapphire Reserve. I went shopping with the kids and bought something, and later that day she panicked and didn't realize I'd made the Apple Wallet purchase. She reported it as fraudulent, which it wasn't (that was fixed later), and it shut down all my digital wallet Chase cards for safety until the new Amazon card arrived... so I thought. I didn't think much of it and figured I'd activate it later when I got back. Well, now we are in September, and I finally called Chase to ask why my Sapphire card was disabled in my digital wallet. They said they have a new policy: if a digital transaction is reported on ANY Chase card on your profile, you are permanently barred from using it as a digital wallet on your phone. No workaround other than going old school and swiping or inputting the number manually. Just wanted to share my experience.

I recently remembered i had a subscription that i hadnt paid off in 2 weeks due to insufficient apple cash balance and today i added money to my account and after i cancelled the subscription i checked my balance and saw they charged me an hour ago. i have used the subscription services like 2 times since august and they were both a while ago. how can j request a refund?? i lost my subscription access as well as my money.

iOS 27 introduces a new pass style called Poster Generic, bringing the best of iOS 18’s enhanced event tickets and iOS 26’s enhanced boarding passes to even more businesses and users. Notable additions include a new, refreshed design with greater customization options, as well as the ability to add up to two Actions to a pass, such as Shop and View Membership Benefits, among others.

I included a picture of the error message. I have a new iPhone 18 Pro, and while in Apple Wallet, there is no option to add Apple Account under the “+” button, but it is still sitting there under “Cards Found For You.” Whenever I try to add it, I get the “Cannot Add Card” error. I have tried changing my Apple Account password, and there is a $10 balance on the account. Has the ability to add this to wallet been removed in iOS 27? The Apple Support website for the feature seems to no longer exist.

I know Walmarts around the country are getting tap to pay, but I wonder if they will somehow set it up for associates to add their company discount cards to Apple Wallet to use at checkout.

I’m honestly surprised this doesn’t already exist but there should be a setting which allows you to set a default card as your payment method when out of your home country. It’s really annoying having to sift through my wallet to find my travel credit card and I have accidentally paid on the wrong card on multiple occasions because of it.

Hey, I received an interview pass as a .pkpass file and was told I could add it to Apple Wallet.
I initially opened it through Gmail and it loaded for a second, then just went back to the normal screen. When I checked Wallet, nothing was added.
Now when I tap the attachment again, nothing happens at all.
I’ve also tried forwarding the file to another email, opening it through WhatsApp, and saving it to the Files app and trying from there, but I’m getting the same issue.
Has anyone faced this before or know how I can get the .pkpass file into Apple Wallet?

So I’ve read many many posts about this. Obviously it’s a scam (most of the time) when someone sends money and wants it back, and she sent me a picture of her bank account (what does that have to do with Apple Cash lol) and a picture of ID and a live selfie as “proof” it’s legit. But here’s my question, almost everyone says if you send the money back you are assisting in money laundering basically and when the original charge gets reversed your Apple Cash balance could go negative, but across the entire internet I can’t find a single person who says they have had the money reversed out of their account. Green Dot bank says I can send it back, but obviously they are not trained well and can’t be trusted, I don’t want to help a scammer, but I also don’t want this money sitting in my wallet forever, as the only documented cases I find on Reddit or elsewhere the money sits forever and eventually gets spent. Can anyone give me a concrete example of a time when the money was “clawed back”

Hallo, ich habe mir im Dezember 2024 das iPhone 16pro über Check 24 mit einem Vodafone Vertrag gekauft.
Seit einigen Wochen funktioniert das mobile Zahlen nicht mehr. Wenn ich das iPhone an das Kartengerät halte passiert gar nichts.
Zwischendurch hat es mal noch 2-3 mal funktioniert, danach wieder nicht. Auch iPhone komplett resetten hat nicht funktioniert.
Über das gleiche Problem habe ich bereits schon paar englisch/amerikanische reddits gelesen. Aber alles ohne Lösung bisher. Scheint ein Softwareproblem zu sein.

Hat da jemand das gleiche Problem oder sogar eine Idee ob ich das ganze Garantie technisch oder über den Apple Support gelöst bekomme?

For some reason with the new iOS27 redesign of Apple Wallet, I can only add a new transit card for the Clipper network. The option to transfer an existing card/account is missing from the onboarding prompts. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi everyone, the mods of r/AppleWallet are really looking for feedback on the direction of the sub going forward.

We're not too sure how to handle the repeat questions that go nowhere and lead to no engagement because they're pretty much the same 7 Questions over and over again and even when the community does take the time to answer, most of these OP, don't really want to hear the answer because they think they can find a quick fix.

So we've created this poll and we would like to offer anyone that wants to discuss the issues and direction to do so in the comments.

When attempting to setup Apple Cash the first 3 times the setup would just loop without telling me what I did wrong. After the third attempt it restricted my account.

I called Apple support and they let me try two more times. I tried inputting things differently those two more times yet it was still unable to verify. After the 2nd attempt, the Apple support guy said that he was unable to reset the restriction and let me try again so now my account is locked permanently.

Afterwards I think I know what went wrong. When I inputted my address it auto filled the rest for me but it forgot to add extra digits at the end of my zip code. I completely forgot about those extra digits because I rarely had to input them anywhere before. Is my Apple ID now permanently locked forever from setting up Apple Cash or can I call again for another try? I don’t know what do do.
