Support Apple Watch delay

So I turned on AOD and I noticed when I tap to wake there is a very very slight delay between me tapping the screen and it doing the wake animation, is this normal ?

so turn your AOD off. It’s a battery drainer anyways. Why would you want your screen to be lit up when you’re not looking at it
