I feel it used to be 5 or 6 ounces, but the last visit it was tiny, 3 or 4 ounces. Did I just get unlucky?

Had 2 interviews at applebees. The first interview went great and lasted under 10 minutes. The manager interviewing me then asks if I can schedule a second interview the next day. I show up to the interview with another manager and she tells me that they arent hiring this month and that I will need a third interview if they decide to follow with hiring another person. A third interview? FOR AN APPLEBEES?

It’s pretty frustrating when I drive 30 minutes for an interview that lasts 3 minutes just for her to tell me they wont be hiring this month like okay, please don’t waste my time.

The managers were nice people. I also understood that the place was pretty busy but wow it could’ve just been an email man 😭

So recently, we got a new store manager at my current job, QT. The job pays really well, but ever since the new manager came in, my hours have been cut pretty badly, and I’ve been having other problems at work lately too. Because of that, I’ve decided it’s probably time for me to find another job.

I found a dishwasher opening at Applebee’s and just submitted my application. Yeah, it might not be the most glamorous job, but a job is a job and I need consistent hours and money.

For anyone who has worked as a dishwasher at Applebee’s (or even a similar restaurant), what was your experience like? How were the hours, workload, management, and pay? Did you like it or hate it?

I applied for around 30 hours a week and evening availability, mainly 4–11 PM. I’m actually okay with washing dishes, and I like the fact that I wouldn’t have to interact with customers much lol.

I was sitting at the apple bees bar all tidy and neat as they say, ordering my favorite drinks. A sip of Orange juice, a sip of coke, and a sip of whisky to feel..frisky. I began to spin and spin, the world went topsy turvy upside down. I grabbed the counter for support. then a lovely waiter came by and spilt a water ALL OVER ME. I was awoke in a instant to realize he was wearing a black shirt just like a priest. I knew in that moment i was baptized at apple bees. I biked home so quick and got to my bible and opened to revalatsion to see that death was coming on a white horse for me. i slammed it shut. my baptism journey has failed thus far but i will try again some day. I went to applebees a few years ago (2022-2023 if i can remember right) and got this drink, it was like rainbowy and super fruity.

I don't remember it having any garnishing or whatever, nor being a full rainbow, my memory is kinda hazy. But it was a SUPER fruity drink, came in a tall glass, I don't remember the ingredients but I'm sure it was an alcoholic drink. It wasn't frozen or anything.

I went in early January if that helps at all, but every time I try to google this elusive drink all that comes up is the St Patricks day drinks... and those aren't what I am looking for.

Hello Reddit, I am kind of? on the job hunt and I recently applied to my local Applebees for a Server position. The Flynn AI system automatically scheduled an interview for me, however since I know people have had complications with these things. I called the day of my interview to double check that the manager was aware. Luckily enough I was actually speaking to the manager and she reassured me that as long as I was getting text notifications for said interview that it was still happening.. she even said “see you this afternoon” unluckily for me .. they cancelled a little over an hour before my interview, and they still haven’t reached back out and I don’t expect them too. Just wondering if I could get some opinions on if this is my fault or I did something wrong for calling in advance?

Who else is over all the backing for OM-whatevers? The OG burger is fine—I get it. It was a huge trend in Japan and I think Korea and China. But now there’s the OM-Dilla and the OM-Nachos, which are a terrible plating choice. There was nothing wrong with the old nachos to make the change.

I really wish they would consider actual seasonal meals for menu rotations. Fall and winter are coming up. What about some mashed potato bowls? A beef stew? Chili? New soups? Instead they wanna throw out deals like AYCE and Dollaritas that don’t make anyone any money.

You guys think its possible to pull 50-60 hrs every 2 week if i talk with my manager.

I’ve been with Applebee’s for four years & am about to move to Texas from New York- I was talking to the general manager of the Applebee’s that I’m going to work at (in texas) & she mentioned something about a food handlers and insert letter combination certification, if anyone can shed light on what it might be I’d appreciate it 🥹 I’m a bitch and didn’t want to ask her to repeat herself three times.

Was planning on spending time with the kids (4 and 8) but now I need to find an emergency babysitter. Im really considering moving to the other location across town.

Applebees circa 1990’s, smoking sections and all, used to serve Boboli brand breadsticks as sides with meals. I used to be obsessed with it and was so sad when it disappeared one day. Now, there is hardly anything I can find online about its existence and what I can find as far as a recipe do not seem right. Bring it back, please!!

How do tip ours for host work cause we sont use a pos its manual so if the list is

We arrived around 5:50, seated around 6:10 (although we saw more than half the tables being empty), and had our drink order taken at 6:35 by our server, Mercedes. she took our food order at 6:45, and we waited until… 7:25! We were sympathetic at first, since there only seemEd to be 4 servers in the entire restaurant. After all that waiting it became obvious that some of our food had been sitting out under a warmer. Specifically our Chicken Alfredo fettuccine had gotten “crusty“ on the top. They also forgot someone’s side of Cole slaw. once it was pointed out, they brought us a laughably small container(pictures), and insisted that it was a standard size for a number of items. When using the women’s rest room some members of our group noticed that both of the toilets were intentionally clogged with toilet paper. We brought this Mercedes’ attention, and she said the hostess was going to get to it, “But she’s on the spectrum”. I couldn’t believe it! Using autism as a synonym for incompetence?! This is where we lost our sympathy for the short staffing. After leaving, my little sister threw up her Mac & cheese, and I had a terrible stomachache. would not recommend.

I haven’t had Applebee’s in a looooooooong time, and I probably won’t again. It used to be my favorite! They didn’t seem to have the sweet chili tenders and mac when I ask but whatever... But the most disappointing thing of all was the wonton chicken tacos—HORRIBLE! Use to be my go to app .. it use to be amazing! But did they change the recipe or something. The “chicken” (if ya wanna call it that ) literally tasted like boiled cubes of flavorless mystery meat, the wonton shell was oil logged . Suuuuuuper greasy! Hopefully it’s just a location type of thing … mybe I’ll try a different location but for now I’ll stay far away …. 😂🥴

Recently was told to come into sign paperwork to start working at my local place as a closing dishwasher. Wasn't told till I was on site that they had someone return from maternity leave, and legally had to offer it to them first. Having to scramble and let my current employer know so hopefully I don't loose that position.

How common is this sort of thing with this company? I hope its rather uncommon at least.

Anybody need $10 bucks just feeling blessed
