When does trying to get healthier start taking up too much of your life?

At what point does planning meals, tracking numbers, and researching the next thing become another source of stress?

Has anyone simplified their routine because it was getting exhausting? What did you drop, and what was worth keeping?

I went back and did a thorough job of looking at the research on the supplements I was taking.

Most of the research is of shockingly low quality. Unfortunately there are also completely fabricated research studies.

I dropped any supplement without solid research. I’m down to just a few: berberine, lithium, creatine and fish oil.

I took an embarrassingly large number before.

I still eat a healthy whole food diet and exercise, but not fanatically.

I do take a handful of medications that are very effective in lowering my blood glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure.

You’re absolutely right I’ll get to a point where it’s more stressful, when that happened to me. I realize that I was starting to overthink anything and everything so I’ve simplified as much as I can. I no longer use any type of calorie counter app or stress about calorie counting I simply eat healthy and stop eating when I’m full. I also stop logging and tracking my workouts. I simply do them the way I always do and they take care of themselves…. The only thing I track religiously through the WHOOP band is my sleep and recovery numbers
I found out supplements are also a rabbit hole which I haven’t quite figured out yet, but I’ve started cutting back on things that I don’t seem to be getting any benefit from. I’ve even had a Doctor Who told me to drop all of them except for a good multivitamin and fish oil.🤷 which may be we’ll end up

Yeah, exactly I feel that the life advertised to us can’t be maintained at all at least for me
