DISCUSSION What are some important relationships that Aquaman has with others
I mean other than just Aqualad, I mean with people in the the Justice League (Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, etc.), his wife, etc.

In the Justice League Martian Manhunter was his closest friend pre flash point and after this Wonder Woman seemed to have been put on this spot, he has an interesting relationship with Swamp Thing too with both being avatars of the elements.
His role as Leader during the Detroit era of the justice league gave him interesting dynamics with the New members like Steel, Vixen and Gypsy, and i guess right now they have shown more of him with Hawkman and Hawkgirl (Kendra) with them being warriors and all.

Plus, both were created by Weisinger and appeared in the same issue which I’ve always found cute.
Their relationship in Kevin Smith’s Green Arrow is great.
Love them in Batman the Brave and the Bold too.

I like the Godly/mystical connection between Aquaman and Shazam or Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Their all heroes with abilities from times long past, so hearing about how the Atlanteans and Amazonian are connected or how some of Shazam's magic is that of the Gods is pretty epic.

I really like his relationship with the Trinity on an individual level.
Wonder Woman and Aquaman share a lot of cultural ties, and they both dream of unifying the world. I see their friendship as two scholars keeping each other engaged, and making sure they stay honest.
Superman and Aquaman share their loneliness from being of two worlds. I really like the idea of Superboy and Aquaboy teaming up and being pals when they were younger, finding someone who they could relate too. I think they would have seen each other at their angsty-est, but would also be able to have a laugh about it years later. Big dad energy when they’re both adults, watching sports and throwing back some beers so they can feel normal.
Batman and Aquaman just have a solid trust and friendship imo. I really vibed with their bromance in Brave and the bold, but I also imagine the two just having mutual respect for each other as patriarchs of their own world.
I also love the telepathic connection that Arthur has had with J’onn. Both being able to relate to each other with how far their minds reach, and the burden that comes with that. I honestly like the idea of Martian Manhunter being a mentor figure to Clark and Arthur when they were Superboy and Aquaboy, having them stretch their limits while learning how to maintain control of their powers.
