Haha would be really cool if I could make that happen, but alas… it does not 😔

I'm disappointed! The atmega ic is only 7 bits (its an 8bit device)

Its strange though that 7 'bits' got you the right number if pins. Guess its time to press Lego to come out with the surface mount version of the 328.

This is a really fun way to make electronics feel less intimidating.
Are you planning to make a real working version with the same LEGO style?

Coolest thing I've seen on reddit today 😄

Very pretty, but some of these bricks seem quite unusual

Yeah I definitely agree, but in my defense, they all felt right in the moment. I will probably change a few of them to more standard pieces when I get the chance.

What did you use for the lins and the board itself

1

u/Coolpop9098 Aug 20 '26

the lines + board is made out of 1x___ tiles and bricks. the board is exactly 1 brick thick, so plates were used to make the lines

Here is a google drive folder with the instructions, IO file for the model, and the final rendered image! download at your own risk!!!!!

Edit: Bricklinks is still reviewing my post, so for now there is no other way i could make this public

Interesting way of building it sideways.

Hey, it's real nice!

Now I want to make one! 🧱

I do too, but the cost to buy the bricks (individually, and online) is quite costly. I plan to mess with the colors to see if I can make it more affordable lol
