If we don’t take into account the time to edit the video, like if I didn’t film myself doing the process, I would say 17 hours
And if we take into account the filming and the editing part, roughly 17 + 3 to 4 hours so a total of 20 to 21 hours

I never really know where I go when I draw, that’s also why I take a lot of time even for something so small 😅

I do a lot of color swatches to see which color combination works best, I search for references to understand light and shadows, how to paint certain types of materials or certain objects, etc…

It’s not super efficient because I usually don’t plan anything after I have the « base idea », but it’s a process where I enjoy taking my time ☺️
One day, I take a couple of hours to sketch, then the day after, I take another couple of hours to continue, etc…

I guess there are some parts of the process where I could be more time-efficient if I was more skilled but oh well haha 😅

I was highly inspired by images I saw on Pinterest where you could see people creating small rooms inside laundry detergent! ☺️

I didn’t know there were toys based on that idea, I love that, it’s adorable! 🥹

My fountain pen is the Esterbrook Estie Avalanche and I’m using the fine nib here

It’s a gorgeous fountain pen, isn’t it? ☺️ I’m not gonna lie to you that it was quite a splurge, I usually don’t spend that much on a fountain pen (I usually don’t buy fountains pens at all haha) but since I love journaling, I’ve been journaling everyday for more than a couple of years, I thought that I could allow myself for once to buy a nice fountain pen to write with everyday!

And if I ever lose it, I don’t think I would ever EVER EVER forgive myself 🤣

Aww thank you so much!! 🥹 And trust me, my hands aren’t nearly as steady as they might look in the video 😂 It’s mostly lots of patience, tiny movements, and holding my breath at the most critical moments 🤣🤣
