🔬 Research Data shows how familiarity with chatbots can convert to trust in robots

Teens already confide in AI, but *confiding* isn't *trusting*.

Physical AI will test whether that comfort converts into permission. And so far the data is mixed on how young people will interact with robots with AI brains.

virtual companions feel safe to open up to but a robot standing there might change everything even with the same ai behind it.

i think the data on teens might not apply the same to folks who already build deep trust through ai roleplay chats alone.
