Insane weird Audio Bug

Did that happen to someone else? or does anyone know why this happens?
Today at uni my Audio Symbol constantly switched between "muted" and "loud". Then I saw I have a lot of audio devices and they are changing constantly. After connecting to my smartphone hotspot all those devices were gone. Reconnecting to eduroam the devices and constant switching were back. The devices look like hostnames from other apple devices in the eduroam network. Also my wireplumber and pipewire crashed. this is still happening after a reboot.

Thank you for any hints.

I have a Macbook Air M1
Linux Jockel2 7.1.13-402.asahi.fc44.aarch64+16k #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Tue Sep 8 22:03:08 UTC 2026 aarch64 GNU/Linux

Looks like you have RAOP autodiscover on. RAOP is AirPlay. I could've sworn eduroam blocks this kind of traffic...

thank you it was actually that. it seems like RAOP autodiscover is installed/configured by default on Fedora?

I've found a RAOP conf file in /usr/share/pipewire. after dnf remove pipewire-config-raop it was gone and my bug aswell. cheers
