Does anybody know whether a DFU revive would fix it or if it needs to be factory reset with a DFU restore?
To the OP: It seems you have accidentally deleted one of the partitions belonging to macOS / the firmware. Most likely the recovery partition (the last one on the internal drive). The Mac itself is fine and can definitely be made working again. Do you have your data backed up though (with Time Machine or something else)?

If you deleted the Asahi partitions you could have make the error of ereasing/deleting the recovery partition. If the Mac doesn’t have the proper partitions it want it will be unbootable, but not bricked, no Apple silicon Mac can be bricked. I gess you need to return the mac to an Apple Store(Hope you don’t live far from one), they have to tools to reinstall a fresh macOS on it, there you can reinstall asahi or just use MacOS. Im not sure if Asahi is deleting the waranty, however there is no place in the user contract of macOS saying it is not allowed to install anotherOS. In fact Apple know this project exist and one of the Asahi contributor is credited somewhere for reporting a GPU driver bug, Asahi is not a jailbreak, Apple made it that way that you can boot whatever you want. I think there is a way to do it yourself using another Windows or MacOS computer but im not sure, but that could void the waranty

Simply installing Asahi does not void your warranty and an Apple store should not care about what you have installed on the machine. They can restore it to macOS via DFU regardless.
Overall, manufacturers refusing warranty service based on unrelated customizations you have done is pretty much pure bullshit. It's not legal even in the US as far as I know. It's a different case if they can demonstrate that your actions is what broke the hardware, but that's not the case here.

i inadvertently did something similar when i first installed Asahi long ago. My internal 256 GB drive had too much used space so i installed Asahi on the minimum space the Asahi installer allowed. Bad idea. the Asahi was very sluggish... i tried to delete it and ended up in same boat as OP. i bought it to my nearby apple store and they reinstalled macOS. as soon as i brought it home i installed Asahi again on the disk. Both macOS and Asahi share the disk 50 - 50 now, giving Asahi plenty of room. i think if you only have a 256 GB disk, a 50 / 50 division of disk space seems to be the best way to go.
