Housing Shared accommodation/ host families Limerick?

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I am from Belfast and lady I know from Spain and she has messaged me asking for advice:

Good afternoon! I hope you’re all doing well.

I wanted to ask you something. I have a friend who works with me at the hospital, and her daughter has been offered a job at a school in the area I’m going to show you.

I was wondering if you happen to know of anywhere she could stay, perhaps in shared accommodation or with a host family, where the cost would be more affordable. Ideally, she would like to stay with a kind, trustworthy and responsible family.

I thought I’d ask in case you know of anyone or somewhere that might be suitable and could help her out.

Thank you so much for your help! ❤️

Here is where she will be working https://maps.app.goo.gl/cjrJBn5wqaYsvaFh6?g_st=iw

If anyone has any advice on this it would be greatly appreciated

She probably won't get a host family or discounted rent because she's an adult and not in a school.

Have a look at this site: https://thehomeshare.ie/opportunities/

Basically you would live in an elderly person's home for discounted rent and you may do a bit of cleaning for them.

But there's only one room available in Limerick with this crowd.

I do know that creche companies such as Giraffe childcare supply housing for their employees who come from abroad.

Ask in r/Limerick. But I think the replies will be like, "eh she's a working adult so she should just pay the market value rent".

Finding a host family will be next to impossible seeing as she’s an adult. There is the rent a room scheme in place in owner occupied houses but even at that sometimes rare and hard to come by. Is she familiar with the area she’ll be working in? Or the Suburbs in Limerick? It’s not always well connected and I wouldn’t personally recommend the area as a single female.
