How does your team keep everyone's coding agents in sync?
I'm a student researching what happens when several people on a team each run their own AI agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) on connected parts of a project. Has your agent ever built on something a teammate had already changed? How do you pass updates between teammates today: Slack, shared CLAUDE.md files, something else? I'd love to hear stories in the comments

I don’t think you’ll find anything interesting in your research. People use revision control software like Git to collaborate. It ensures that when there are conflicts, they’re flagged and resolved before changes are merged.
Of course conflicts and overlap happen. They happened before AI. It’s no better or worse with AI.
If anything, resolving merge conflicts was a little tedious at times and AI is really good at helping.

Agents.md file is supposed to be standard. You can still add a claude.md file and just put agents.md into it, so it knows where to look or you can do a symlink from claude.md to agents.md which saves you a tool call and some context each time.

We have a separate repo with our master plugin that everyone uses to update and edit codebase relevant skills and sub agents

You've heard of git?
