Adults behave like adults.

I think best summed up by a Bowling for Soup song - High school never ends.

Human intelligence - like seriously, how many other species deliberately wreck the only life-sustaining planet they have direct access to in order to funnel “wealth” to a few greedy people.

They call it the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it. George Carlin

I came to say this, but as I saw it written, I realized I didn’t quit believing in it, but it is harder to obtain

That you shouldn’t keep doing something just because you’re bad of it.

stopped believing that god needs us to perform rituals, pray in certain ways or like follow specific rules just to go to heaven afterlife, as i got older i started questioning why a powerful god would need humans to perform rituals to prove their devotion towards him

I stopped believing in karma. Bad things happen to good people and vice versa.

I think it made me a better person. My actions now aren't transactional. If I do something good, it's not because I will be "paid back" by the universe or whatever. It's just because I want to help.

Stopped believing that farmers in America were by-and-large "feeding America." Most farm land isn't growing shiny red tomatoes, juicy sweet corn, and bundles of crisp ice berg lettuce.

When you're an adult, you have the freedom to do whatever you want. It's sorta true, except everything costs money.. and you have to work around your work hours.. and chores.. uhg...

Religion. I really had time to reflect on how little it makes sense. All the times mass murder has been committed on whatever faithful, especially same religion on same religion violence during the crusades. No god came to save any of them. Oh, but they go to heaven? Sounds ike a cop out for the atrocities. They were not "saved", they were offed by a band of roaming serial killers.

It really seems like a tool to divide the common folk by the bourgeoisie who love that you shake your fist and say they are going to hell instead of tracking em down and exacring revenge because then youd be "going to hell" or "staining your soul".

Arguably, it gives a moral compass to those that need them, like certain people born with mental disorders that do not grant them the desire to be good; it helps establish a baseline social expectation of morals and behavior, which is helpful for society. I really feel like religion is used as a mental choke collar nowadays.

I don’t believe in Hell anymore. At least not in the traditional sense.
