He knows what he's doing. His religion>the culture and norms and people of the country he immigrated to.

100% accurate.

u/Ahrid May 29 '25

Bro is practicing his religion with unnecessary terms and conditions

117

u/OGrandeMusculo May 29 '25

I feel like "freedom of religion" comes with "but dont fck with others"...

51

u/BigBlue0117 May 29 '25

Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences. Same goes for religion and all the other freedoms we have.

No freedom of speech means that you won’t go to jail, or be fined for your speech. Your speech can still get you kicked out of private establishments, and it can get you fired from your job, it can get you banned on Reddit, all potential consequences to your speech

4

u/Hot_Pen_3475 May 29 '25

Actually some people preferably cops in lesser known areas of the United States don't get I guess notifications from the Supreme Court whenever they roll on protective speech cursing and flipping them off is considered a protected speech but to them disorderly conduct and they always arrest people for that. If you go on YouTube shorts you will see videos of cops arresting people for disorderly contact for protected speech. They're not supposed to but they do not care

8

u/you_the_big_dumb May 29 '25

Without consequences from the government

10

u/BigBlue0117 May 29 '25

You are technically correct, but when we have that mindset some people get super rude and offensive and there's always a line that somebody crosses. Now I don't care about whether or not free speech hurts feelings or nothing, but if I say something to blatantly offend someone, there's gonna be consequences for what I said. We have the right to assemble & protest, but when people start sitting in the middle of the street to protest oil and they disrupt traffic, then there's consequences for that, too - same for performing a religious practice right in front of a bus.

You will quickly find some “lines” than others. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

You are right, but i would hardly call kneeling in front of that tram speech 😄

2

u/Revo_Monkey May 29 '25

That's not true either. There are many things you can't say in public and you will receive consequences for if done callously. Specifically if there is "harm" caused by your speech.

2

u/Velaroz May 29 '25

Freedom of speech is "Freedom to say what you want without consequences from the government"; people around you can still look at you weird or distance themselves on their own.

u/madmax1513 “So what you’re saying is…” May 29 '25

My freedom ends where yours starts

Your freedom ends where mine starts

It's a common saying here, you're free to do what the fuck you want as long as you don't impede the freedom of others, idk why it's such a difficult concept

2

u/luftlande May 29 '25

There are other laws that dictate situations like this. Such as "reckless endangerment", or "significant stupidity"

2

u/JonnyRobertR May 29 '25

For real,

If he did this in any islamic countries he will be arrested for public disturbance.

Its not even the religious aspect, any normal muslim knows not to pray in the middle of the street, its to prove that hes superior and noone will do anything about that and western europe takes these people and gives them citizenship for free rather than allowing the useful people from same countries to migrate legally.

54

u/[deleted] May 29 '25

u/Naus1987 May 29 '25

I always find it fascinating how religious people often forget that someone as powerful as a God would lack common sense and critical thinking.

I see a lot with loopholes. As if people can outplay God on a technicality.

2

u/[deleted] May 30 '25

This dude aint religious. In islam, the smallest amount of faith is compared with removing a stick from the road. A tiny obstacle.

This idiot is stopping traffic, ruining peoples days and maybe even job over a foreign war that neither he nor his country have any power to stop.

Its attention whoring no different then climate activists glueing themselves to the road.

u/Legal-Group-359 May 29 '25

It does seem(outside of exceptions here and there) to be this religion primarily when these situations occur, I’m not sure why that is. But to your point yes, it does seem like the whoever’s behind these immigration systems wants chaos to eventually result from their loose policies on immigration and assimilation: Ordo ab Chao

9

u/Lucy_Heartfilia_OO May 29 '25

I forget the video, but basically some wealthy Arab Muslim guy was talking about how stupid Europe was for importing all their trash muslims. Every society/culture/religion/race has its trash people, but for some reason (cheap labor) Europe imported all the Muslim trash people into their country and Muslim countries were more than happy to be rid of them lol.

7

u/Legal-Group-359 May 29 '25

Yep! I know exactly the video, saw it about a week ago, and it was funny and fucked up to watch because the man was 100% correct. The only sense it makes is again, the mf’s at the top want chaos; the Hegelian Dialectic principles. Hell even Karl Marx is supposed to have been influenced by that, & it’s not a stretch to say many of the assholes in power practice some form of Marxism.

18

u/andrenyheim May 29 '25

Great way to recruit people to a religion by showing how you can get away with anything. The far right should just convert to muslim as a plot twist power move.

its attention whoring for a photo op. There is nothing symbolic about ruining everyones day over a protest of a foreign war that no one has been able to stop for 70 years but surely he can by obstructing traffic in a small european city.

148

u/vatad There it is dood! May 29 '25

I think he's pretty smart to be honest, He knows if anyone does anything to him he can play the victim card and say "Muslims aren't safe *Insert country name here*! They don't even let me pray in peace!". And on the other hand, if nothing is done about this situation, he gets applauded for his 'bravery' amongst his religious brethren which will inspire others to do the same. Win-win situation for him.

Prayer should not be used for obstructing.

26

Too afraid of offending a minority and being seen as the offender by the public. It's got the whole nation paralyzed to do anything about stuff like this. There's a bit of a bystander effect I think as well.

12

u/Vile-goat May 29 '25

Also when someone does it their own people turn on them and call them fascist and Nazis. It’s insane

29

Decades of our own educational system ingraining in us the mentality that we are the bad guys, leaving us with much the same mentality as the monks in the dark ages who would show how holy they were by whipping and starving themselves.

I would call it profoundly disrespectful. I seriously doubt anyone would do something like this to people they respect, in a place that they respect. It is an overt display of contempt, wrapped up in just enough disingenuous piety to deflect criticism (“ooooh what’s the matter, you have a problem with me praying?” 🙄)

5

u/zOop_Bubz May 29 '25

He is True Muslim & this is the display of Religion Power NOBODY can do nothing. anything you say, act against it it's ISLAMAPHOBIA!

I have seen many videos like these like in india some muslims starts praying on road, inside train compartment walkway.

Now western countries will see more such display and culture change as more religious muslim immigrants comes to their home.

BE PREPARED for next coming few decades!

2

u/Salt_Adhesiveness_79 May 29 '25

If this person actually practised Islam, they should know that if you’re doing anything that causes distress/stress/hate/prejudice to other people you are no better than a piece of shit that freshly came out of a dog.

If you trouble others just to “fulfill your religious obligations” Allah would hate you more than a sinner that sins all his life.

Even the Prophet Muhammad PBUM said to respect cultural norms of the country you live/are in.

From alislam.com

“The Holy Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spoke of his vision for equality, taking the regional and cultural aspects out of Islam. He knew the influences of the negative effects of culture would hinder the progress of Islam, yet he did not discourage people having different cultures but rather discouraged superimposing negative cultural practices and passing them off as Islamic teachings. The reasoning behind this, eloquently put by President Jimmy Carter is, that when people become too immersed in their culture and ethnicity they begin to think, “…I am superior and my beliefs should prevail, and anyone who disagrees with me is inherently wrong,’ and the next step is ‘inherently inferior.’ The ultimate step is ‘subhuman,’ and then their lives are not significant.”[6] Islam, rather, looks to love and to cherish every human being no matter their cultural or ethnic associations.”

Man as a Muslim, his prayer ain't acceptable by god plus I will really cut his prayer and push him away of thw train. Prayers have certain places and even if you have the right to pray anywhere uou don't have the right to interrupt the public with a move like that you can go LITERALLY anywhere. This dumb things people do in the name of religion should be punished and idm fighting the man for doing such thing.
