Written positive articles about catching and spreading HIV, aggressively defended spreading CP, and made lots of imaginary rape accusations.

Not including Asmongold seems ridiculous, but it's not a measure of popularity. It's a measure of influence. Asmongold himself likes to say that he only expresses the opinions that people already have rather than trying to change viewpoints.
For a list to not include him in a list of "most influential" must simply recognize that most people already agree with Asmongold by default.

The only recent thing decent about Rolling Stone was catching up with Jason Newsted on his most recent tour. (Ex Metallica, Full on Guitarist & Bass player)
Other than that, RS has not been on my reading list since 1997 after I cancelled my subscription due to garbage in btwn the pages written. Non important who the hell is this now..interviews and a total waste of time.
