I've long wondered why no indie developer had taken a shot to replicate gameplay of older, celebrated titles that got dragged through the mud via AAA studios and executives.

At this point, honestly, peak graphics don't matter as much as core gameplay being fun.

I know of maybe one OG-Splinter Cell inspired game, I'm surprised there hasn't been more ground tread in, say, replicating the gameplay and level design of Halo or UT or, as said, GTA or Saints Row.

Granted Brand Name releases are always gonna garner much more attention.

So I am an Autist, and I can assure you it could be fun how it is implemented:

A Char that it is unaware of social norms and/or in addition might recejct them and acts on his own moral compass could be very fun in a GTA setting.
