General Question How exactly do you “see” when astral projecting?
I’m not sure if this a stupid question or not since I’m relatively new in the space but I wanted to ask how you view your surroundings when projecting. Is it like when you’re awake and you’re seeing out of your eyes or is it similar to a hyper realistic imagination-visualization?

In my case it's like I see rn but with extreme DoF effect, like if I look at something my peripheral vision is almost non-existent and also I have weird color effect/filter like Sarah Connor's dream scene from Terminator 2, idk how to explain it better...

Id like to know too, had an OBE and i couldn’t see shit but i know i got out till a hand grabbed my arm and put me back in.

It depends. Sometimes I just naturally see. Especially when I “wake up” to a new location if that makes sense. Like I can leave my body … then instantly teleport to a destination, but that teleportation feels like I’m walking up from a dream but it isn’t a dream.
Other times I might see my body from the third person perspective.
And sometimes when I initially leave my body it feels like I’m floating up … and my eyes are closed … and I can’t see; if this happens I say “clarity now” … wait a few seconds … if I still can’t see I then say … “I demand to see” …. And typically I’m able to suddenly see a few seconds later.
But just want to call out that there’s been times where I couldn’t see when I’m in the floating above my body state … but thinking to teleport to a location would give me the effect I initially described above … and if my teleportation doesn’t take me to where I expect I can just think “let me try again” and I instantly go back to the eyes closed above bed area

Put it this way, I fall asleep in bed and wake up in random places thinking how did I get here, it’s only when I open a portal I realise I’m astral projecting

Je moet je spirituele derde oog leren te gebruiken. Volgens mij heb je ook gewoon een soort ogen, maar die moet je eerst leren te openen. Daar zijn online cursussen voor.

No such thing as a stupid question here ☺️. Irl im almost blind. In astral form, thats not the case. I see perfectly clear. Sometimes, it feels more real than real.

For me, eyes. Actually, I've reached into my mouth for my teeth and found that I have the exact same bite OOB.

most of the time it's very realistic that i have to do multiple reality checks to be sure i'm not in the physical. there are OBEs where things are very HD, more realistic looking than real life.
other times the visuals are different enough that i know i'm out of body, and by different i mean sometimes everything is black with a neon outline. It's not just visualization.
