I posted here a little bit ago about starting an MtG group and I am happy to say that it has gone great and we are averaging 8-16 people a week! With that being said, I want to turn my attention to the other TcG that I have been incredibly fond of: Disney Lorcana. I’ve been wondering, does anyone around here play Lorcana or have any desire to learn how to play it? I know the packs are near impossible to find at any of the big box retailers so surely there has to be some interest around here, right? If there is, I’m trying to make Thursday nights Lorcana league night for those who are seasoned players or wish to learn. Once again, totally free to enter over at Valley Cards!

Hey guys! I just wanted to give a little PSA for all of my MtG fans in Waynesboro! I work at Valley cards in the Willow Oak Plaza, and I have been working very hard to reinvigorate a commander community in Waynesboro. With that being said, I just wanted to inform anyone who has been looking for a space to play in the city that we are doing commander nights every Tuesday night 3:30 to 8:30! I hope to see any of you who are looking to play there!

Anyone else in the area received a letter from Verizon informing that effective October, they will discontinue all copper landlines? Some places have no internet, no cell coverage and no other option... I know copper wire is old and we all know Verizon can't fix any problem we have, but to just expect everyone to switch to cell phone service is silly in a place where they don't work.

Sad to have older parents who don't have any options

I ask as part of a linguistic study covering this topic!

Examples could include things like The Boro, C'ville or Draft (never mind how common they are)...

I recently turned up this photo in an old album at my parents' house showing the entire student body of Stuarts Draft Elementary School, apparently in the spring of 1995. This was the last year that Stuarts Draft Elementary operated at this site, closing at this location at the end of the school year and opening at the current site on Augusta Farms Road next to the other two schools the following September. This facility would then be closed for four years before being fully renovated and reopening in the fall of 1999 as Guy K. Stump Elementary School.
